After its critically acclaimed season 2, "Severance" co-leads this year's Primetime Emmy nominations with "The White Lotus" on 10 apiece. Throw in other heavy hitters like "Andor", "The Last of Us" and "Slow Horses" and you have an extremely strong set of contenders for Outstanding Drama Series. While "Adolescence" will do battle with "Black Mirror" and "The Penguin" in the Limited Series category.
Producing the laughs this year have been the likes of "Hacks", "Abbott Elementary", "Only Murders in the Building" and "The Studio", all of which are nominated multiple times over. And talking of comedy, this year's ceremony at L.A.'s Peacock Theater will be presented by the phenomenally popular stand-up Nate Bargatze.
Any ceremony pitting Cate Blanchett (for "Disclaimer") against Michelle Williams ("Dying for Sex") and Bowen Yang ("Saturday Night Live") versus Harrison Ford ("Shrinking") has to be worth a watch. So keep reading to discover where to watch Emmy Awards 2025 streams no matter where in the world you are — and potentially for free!

Sunday's events will also be shown on CBS's Paramount Plus streaming service. You'll need the Paramount Plus Premium plan to watch live, which costs $12.99/month after its 7-day free Paramount Plus trial. Or, if you don't mind watching on catch up the day after, you can opt for the more affordable Essential tier for $7.99/month (again with a free one-week trial).
Or take advantage of the service's limited time offer on its annual plans; currently just $59 for Premium or $29 for Essential.
If you're currently outside of the U.S. but have one of these subscriptions, you can still watch the Emmy Awards 2025 live stream on your usual service by using a VPN.
Paramount Plus is CBS's dedicated streaming service, which means it gives you access to a whole host of great live sports (e.g. Champions League soccer) and shows such as "Survivor", "Big Brother", "Star Trek: Picard", "The Good Fight". "Yellowjackets" and much, much more.
How to watch Emmy Awards 2025 from anywhere
Away from home at the moment and blocked from watching the Emmy Awards on your usual subscription?
You can still watch the ceremony live thanks to the wonders of a VPN (Virtual Private Network). The software allows your devices to appear to be back in your home country regardless of where in the world you are, making it ideal for viewers away on vacation or on business. Our favorite is NordVPN. It's the best on the market:

Can I watch Emmy Awards 2025 in the U.K?
It's bad news for Brits, as it doesn't look like any U.K. channels are broadcasting the Emmy Awards 2025 — not even on Paramount Plus or, as it has been in the past, on Sky TV.
If you're traveling to the U.K. and wish to watch your domestic stream of the 2025 Emmy Awards, then you can use a VPN to do exactly that and avoid geo-restrictions.
