The 'most affordable mattress in Saatva's extraordinary lineup' is now $400 off — here's why it's worth the splurge
I've spent the past month sleeping on this luxury mattress and here's why it's my top pick of the Memorial Day mattress sales
The Memory Foam Hybrid is one of the most affordable mattresses in Saatva's extraordinary luxury lineup — and it's now even less than usual, as you can save $400 on all sizes during Saatva's Memorial Day sale with our exclusive discount link.
The flagship Saatva Classic receives plenty of attention for being the best mattress of 2026, but the Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress deserves its time to shine, too. After all, it's the preferred mattress for athletes at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center.
Now I'm more of a beer league hockey wannabe than an Olympic gold medalist, but I'm also a professional mattress tester who's slept on the Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid and can tell you why it's worth buying in the Memorial Day mattress sales. But if that doesn't catch your eye, check out our Memorial Day mattress deals live blog for the latest savings as they appear.
The Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress is back down to $949 for a twin size (was $1,349), thanks to a $400 discount when you click our link above. This semi-exclusive Memorial Day mattress deal is among the Saatva mattress sales we've seen so far this year. Benefits include a 365-night trial, a lifetime warranty, and free white glove delivery.

Three reasons you should buy this luxury hybrid mattress
After sleeping on the Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress for the last month — and asking a few of my friends and family to try it, as well — here's what you need to know before you add it to your shopping cart...
1. It's bliss for back sleepers
First off, if you're a back sleeper, this mattress is bound to be a winner. The medium-firm tension (6.5 out of 10) of the coils, combined with the specialized Lumbar Zone quilting, kept me stable and well-supported.
Every member of my diverse testing panel had the same experience. I think it's one of the best mattresses for back sleepers you can buy right now.
2. The edge-to-edge support is incredible.
The Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress also impressed me with its stable edge support. (The perimeter is lined with a dense foam rail.) This allowed me to use the entire surface area of the bed without fear of sliding off.
As one of my testers put it, "I didn't feel like I was going to fall out of it when I put my shoes on."
3. It's built to breathe
I had been struggling with occasional night sweats, but once I began sleeping on the Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress, those episodes became few and far between. The wrapped coils, waved memory foam, and organic cotton cover allow air to circulate freely, preventing heat buildup.
It doesn't offer that intense soothing sensation found in the best cooling mattresses, but when it comes to temperature regulation, it gets the job done.
Alternative deals to consider
The Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid does a lot of things well, but it can't please everyone. Here are three Memorial Day mattress deals I recommend for side sleepers, couples, and budget shoppers...
One thing I missed when sleeping on the Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid was a cushioned top to ease my sore knee and hip when side sleeping. The popular Saatva Classic is $400 off and has a Euro pillow top for extra pressure relief. Available in three firmness levels, it's one of our favorite mattresses for side sleepers when you choose Soft or Luxury Firm.

The Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid doesn't boast great motion isolation. This doesn't bother me as a solo sleeper, but if you share a bed with a fidgety partner, it'll be an issue. The WinkBed is couples-approved for its minimal motion transfer — and it's available in four comfort levels, too. A perma-sale knocks 30% off the MSRP.

If you're looking for a mid-range hybrid that's (almost) as lush as a Saatva, the DreamCloud is our favorite bed-in-a-box for shoppers who want luxury at a discount. We recommend it for side sleepers who crave cushioned pressure relief, as well as those who aren't prone to sleeping warm. It's always on sale but it's a great price at $649 for a queen and, like Saatva, DreamCloud offers a one-year trial and a forever warranty.
