'Luxury hotel sleep for less': Why the $649 queen DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is the best value mattress in the Memorial Day sales

If you're looking for a reliable, supportive mattress in the Memorial Day sales, I recommend sticking with a Classic. Literally; the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is only $649 for a queen at DreamCloud and it's one of the best deals you'll get this holiday weekend. Or any other weekend, for that matter.

I was a member of our DreamCloud Classic testing panel on the way to declaring it one of the best mattresses for all sleepers so I know first-hand the benefits of this bed. It's the pressure relief that stood out for me, as the quilted top conforms to the body to cradle the hips and shoulders.

There are a lot of Memorial Day mattress sales you need to shop now or you'll miss out — DreamCloud isn't one of them. The deals rarely change and I predict this price (or similar) will stick around for a while. But if you want a good deal on a mattress, you'll struggle to get better value than the DreamCloud.

DreamCloud Classic Hybrid (twin): $349 at DreamCloud

DreamCloud's mattress sales run year-round and ensure the Classic Hybrid is always excellent value. In fact, our lead tester described it as "the most impressive budget-friendly mattress we've tested." We often see a queen sell for $699, so this current $649 sale is an even better offer than usual. Especially when you factor in the benefits of a 365-night sleep trial and a lifetime warranty, plus free delivery.

Why the DreamCloud is the best value Memorial Day buy

If you're shopping for a new bed there are few better places to start than with the best mattress in a box we've tested.

The DreamCloud Classic is exceptional value, with our lead tester describing it as "just as impressive as some of this year's best luxury mattresses we’ve tested." The airy build keeps it sleeping cool, the coil base provides full-body support, and the quilted top offers excellent pressure relief to side sleepers.

At $649 it's not going to offer the indulgent feel of our favorite luxury mattresses (and I've rounded up a few below if you want to invest), but it's still one of the best hybrid mattresses on the market when it comes to reliable support.

Based on previous DreamCloud sales, I doubt this offer is going anywhere soon, so you have some time to make your decision (DreamCloud prefers long-running deals to flash discounts.)

So that means browsing the rest of the mattress sales, seeing what's out there... and coming back to the DreamCloud.

The DreamCloud offers luxury at a mid-range price but if you have the budget and you're looking to invest, try these Memorial Day deals instead.
