John also enquires about a transfer after Bailey's offered a new post at the Pentagon in D.C. but starting from the bottom again has rather lost its appeal, so it looks like they're going to take a shot at long-distance.
There's at least one familiar face in store, as Oscar Hutchinson (Matthew Glave) has a chance encounter with John, while creator Alexi Hawley has teased a belated comeback for his half-brother Pete Nolan (Pete Davidson) for the first time since season 4.
