Why the DreamCloud is the best value Prime Day buy

This is my fourth year covering the Amazon Prime Day mattress deals and what I love about this sale event in particular is how it drives prices down at other retailers. However, at $552 for a queen, this DreamCloud deal is the rival deal to beat.

We rate the Classic as the best mattress in a box you can buy, thanks to its blend of quality construction, superb comfort for side and back sleepers and incredible value for money. It's current sale price means the DreamCloud is a worthy competitor of many mattresses that cost triple the price.

Its breathable hybrid construction allows air to pass through, which helps keep sleepers cool throughout the hot summer months. The coil base provides stability and support, while the quilted pillow top provides excellent pressure relief for side and back sleepers.

When you take comfort vs cost into account, we rate it as one of the best mattresses you can buy under $1,000. Unlike usual DreamCloud sales, which stay pretty static all year round, the current deal is a rare saving.
