How to watch ‘Slow Horses' season 5 online — stream Gary Oldman-led show from anywhere
Another perilous conspiracy threatens our MI5 misfits

The Emmy-winning “Slow Horses” is racing back onto our TV screens, and, unlike the ragtag MI5 agents banished to Slough House, the acclaimed series hasn’t made a single misstep. Gary Oldman plays the irascible Jackson Lamb, whose disparaged department and its agents face another perilous conspiracy.

Adapted from the “London Rules” entry in Mick Herron’s series of spy novels, season 5 begins with the dysfunctional agents placed under house arrest, with resident hacktivist Roddy Ho (Christopher Chung) implicated in a wave of criminal activity. Is Slough House being set up? Or is MI5 being undermined by a powerful enemy?
Operating under the scrutinizing gaze of Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas), Lamb and his underlings team up for more compellingly-plotted spy drama, including once-promising agent River Cartwright (Jack Lowden) and recovering alcoholic Catherine Standish (Saskia Reeves). Meanwhile, Emmy-nominee Nick Mohammed ("Ted Lasso") joins the cast as the London mayor seeking re-election, and we’re excited at the possibility of the cuddly comedian playing a morally bankrupt politician.
