If you are totally clueless about what you're looking for in this year’s best Labor Day mattress sales, you can't go wrong with a hybrid mattress. These beds combine the comfort of foams with the support of springs, meeting the needs of pretty much all sleepers.

Our best hybrid mattresses of 2025 contains all our top hybrid picks, but we've narrowed down the list to two beds that we feel will suit most sleepers. In fact, these crowd-pleasing mattresses offer so much joint-soothing support and cooling luxury that they top the list of 2025's best mattresses — now let's meet them. 1. Saatva Classic Innerspring Hybrid Mattress

We gathered a diverse testing panel of mattress experts for our seven-month Saatva Classic Mattress review, and all agreed that the mattress has something for everyone. That's why it's our No. 1 choice for all sleepers.

Why? Well, first of all, it comes in three different firmness levels, so you can choose how soft or firm you want your bed to be. Don't know how soft you'd like your mattress? We recommend picking the Luxury Firm. It's the firmness level that got us to rank the Classic as No 1 in our best medium-firm mattress guide, and provides a Goldilocks-level of comfort that's just right for most sleepers.

All sleep positions (back, stomach, and side) loved this mattress, as it's supportive no matter how you sleep on it. As one side-sleeping tester remarked: "I don’t usually sleep on my back, due to my curved spine, but I felt instant support from this mattress both when lying on my side and lying on my back".

Most body types will feel supported on this mattress, too. The average weight capacity of a mattress is roughly 500lbs (250lbs for each sleeper), so the Classic's 600lbs is above average. However couples weighing over 600lbs combined should check out our guide to the best mattress for heavy people, where the Saatva HD mattress ranks high.

We found the edge support (basically, how strong the sides of the mattress are) to be sturdy, which means you can sleep right up to the edges without feeling you're going to tumble out of bed. That's good news if you're a stomach sleeper who likes to spread out like a starfish, or if you share a bed with someone who likes to hog your space.

Motion isolation is superb, too, so you won't feel the jiggly movements of a restless partner (or four-legged friend). This, combined with the balanced comfort and support of the hybrid design, means couples with different sleep needs won't have to compromise with the Classic.

While it' comes at a more premium price point than our second choice, when you consider the generous extras (free mattress installation and old mattress removal, a year-long sleep trial, and a lifetime warranty) plus a $400 off Saatva Labor Day deal, the chance to buy a queen Saatva Classic for $1,739 at Saatva represents excellent value.

2. DreamCloud Classic Hybrid Mattress

If you want a luxury mattress but don't have a luxury budget, don't sweat it. The DreamCloud mattress may rank among the best luxury mattresses, but it has a mid-range price tag. So not only does it suit most sleepers, but it'll also appeal to a wider range of budgets.

The hybrid is excellent value for money as you can buy a queen Classic for $649 at DreamCloud, especially if you consider that luxury queen mattresses will usually cost you well over $1,000 (and occasionally nearer $5,000).

Throw in a free shipping and returns, a one-year sleep trial, and a lifetime warranty, and you've got yourself a great DreamCloud mattress deal. No, it doesn't come with white glove delivery or customizable firmness options like the Saatva above, but you really do get your money's worth.

Our DreamCloud mattress review praises the quality of DreamCloud's premium material and design, and the new-and-improved Classic packs even more bells and whistles, including a CloudQuilt cover that improves on the temperature regulation of the already cool DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid by adding cooling fibers — which is good news if you overheat at night.

The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid has pretty much the same structure as its predecessor, which we found to be supportive for all sleep positions (especially back and stomach).

As for body weights, you're always in good, supportive hands with DreamCloud. All DreamCloud mattresses can support up to 1,000lbs, so plus-sized sleepers and couples won't need to look elsewhere.
