How to watch Argentina vs South Africa: FREE live streams and preview for the 2025 Rugby Championship finale
A bonus point victory for the Springboks would seal the Rugby Championship title

The 2025 Rugby Championship will be decided at Twickenham of all places. It's a strange way to conclude the greatest ever edition of the Southern Hemisphere tournament — might it inspire one final twist in the tale? With a single point separating the Springboks from the All Blacks heading into Round 6, a bonus point victory would put Rassie Erasmus' men beyond reach.

An Argentina upset would certainly fit the extraordinary pattern of the competition, which has seen everybody beat everybody so far. There were just two points between the four teams last weekend, and the Wallabies could yet pip both the Kiwis and Boks to the title.
It's impossible, however, to disregard South Africa's imperious form. They've scored 110 points in their last two fixtures, a 43-10 trouncing of New Zealand that's been hailed as the definitive modern Springboks' performance, and the Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu-inspired 67-30 annihilation of Argentina. He scored three tries, nailed eight of nine conversions and kicked two penalties for 37 points, a new South African Test record. If they end up finishing level on points with the Kiwis or Wallabies, the Boks' vastly superior points differential will decide it.
Argentina may be out of the title running, but their Rugby Championship campaign could yet be a roaring success. Six teams will receive top seeding at the Men's Rugby World Cup in 2027, and Felipe Contepomi's men have now climbed above Australia to No.6 in the world rugby rankings. However, there's less than a point between them, and they've lost both their first-choice fly-half Tomas Albornoz and scrum-half Gonzalo Garcia to injury.
Furthermore, the Argentine Rugby Union's presumably money-driven decision to play this home game 7,000 miles away from Buenos Aires in London will only benefit their opponents, and Contepomi has so far been unable to find a solution for the second-half collapses that have marred each of the Pumas' last three games, two of those defeats.
