There are 100s of mattresses on sale for Labor Day, but this DreamCloud mega bed-in-a-box deal beats them all

After scanning the hundreds of mattresses on sale this Labor Day, there’s one that really stands out as incredible value: the DreamCloud Classic mattress. For a limited time only you can save 60% on the DreamCloud and get $599 of free bedding at DreamCloud Sleep. That reduces a queen size to just $649, which is excellent value.

This mattress is one of the top recommended models in our expert round-up of the best mattresses you can buy online in 2025. With a five layer design that incorporates certiPUR-US memory foam and innerspring coils, it competes against even some of the most luxury beds on the market yet at a fraction of the price.

Most months the DreamCloud Classic costs between $649 and $699 for a queen, so while the price of the mattress isn't newsworthy, the $599 of free bedding is. Together, those elements make this one of the best Labor Day mattress sales you can get.

DreamCloud Classic: twin from $399 plus $599 of free bedding at DreamCloud
If you’re looking for one of the best hybrid mattresses of the year then the DreamCloud Classic should be on your radar. I've been sleeping on this for a few weeks and can report that is has the responsive feel of a coil bed, paired with the cushioning pressure relief of memory foam. This balance of elevating support and cozy ‘give’ means it’s suitable for just about every sleep position. Personally, I find it perfect for side sleeping, but my colleagues who also tested the mattress found that it performed just as well for back and even stomach sleeping. DreamCloud mattress sales run throughout the year, which mean you can pretty much ignore the ‘total value’ number. This mattress is always priced between $649 and $699 for a queen, but right now you can get $599 of free bedding included. That’s a mattress protector, sheet set and cooling pillows. You'll also get a lifetime warranty, free shipping, and a year's sleep trial.

Why I rate this deal

Okay, so now you know about the mattress, you need to know why I’m so excited about the price.

Hybrid mattresses usually sit at a mid-range to premium price point, simply because of the quality of materials, durability and more advanced structure, meaning we usually see an MSRP upwards of around $1,000 for a queen.

But the DreamCloud Classic bucks the trend with a queen selling for $649 throughout the year. So why is it so affordable?

We got our hands on one to find out whether the quality reflected the price but we were pleasantly surprised. The cover was soft, the bed cushioned our bodies and the support was impressive. In every position, my body was perfectly aligned, and I felt as if I could drift off there and then in the Tom’s Guide Sleep Studio.

So, I took it home. And it hasn’t stopped impressing me yet, with both my husband and I enjoying comfortable sleep every night. $649 is a fantastic price for this mattress. In fact, it’s unbeatable. The value for money is the best the Tom’s Guide Sleep Team have seen.

And now, for the DreamCloud Labor Day sale, the offering of $599 of free bedding pushes this deal into legendary territory. But I don’t expect it to last long. In fact, I think the bedding freebie will disappear soon after Labor Day ends.

Saatva Classic mattress: twin was $1,399 now $999 at Saatva
The Saatva is more expensive, but we think it's still great value for a handcrafted innerspring hybrid. This mattress is the pinnacle of luxury, made with a cushioning Euro top, a high-density lumbar crown and responsive coils. The result of these features (and many more)? One of the most supportive and comfortable mattresses you’ll lie on. Read more about the feel of the mattress in our Saatva Classic review. The best Saatva mattress sale you'll usually find on the Classic is $300 off a queen, with $200 off a twin, so this deal is brilliant for saving more on the smaller sizes. You’ll get free white glove delivery, a year's trial and a forever warranty.
