The Caspar Element is a 10" mattress that has a simple two foam layer construction, consisting of a top comfort layer of pressure-relieving, open-cell Breathe Flex foam (which is also designed to promote airflow and keep the mattress cooler), while support comes via a layer of Caspar Core foam. This is topped off with a cozy polyester cover.

All that makes it a great budget option for side-sleepers who don't want an ultra plush mattress, and the combination of foams will help with motion isolation, meaning if you share the bed with a restless sleeper, you won't be disturbed by their movements during the night.

We are always on the lookout for the best Casper mattress sales, and as we mentioned, we saw a queen Caspar Element for $416.49 in last year's Black Friday sales, and expect to see a bigger discount than the current 27% off when Black Friday rolls around in November.

However, the MSRP on a queen was also lower last year ($595), so if this year's Black Friday sale matches the 30% off discount last year, the difference in sale price from the current Prime Day deal may not be significant.
