Nectar launches its first ever memory foam mattress toppers — and they're both under $200 for a queen
From this week, choose between Nectar's Firmer or Softer memory foam mattress toppers

Popular bed-in-a-box brand Nectar has unveiled its first ever mattress toppers today, and they're designed to provide the trademark foam comfort of the company's mattresses.
The two new mattress toppers both have a memory foam build but differ in firmness levels. They are aptly called the Nectar Softer Mattress Topper and the Nectar Firmer Mattress Topper.
Nectar's mid-range but premium-quality beds make an appearance in our guide to the best mattresses of 2025. Testing is already underway on the two new Nectar toppers, so we can determine how they compare to the other entries in our best mattress toppers guide.
Release date: September 2025
Sizes: 6 (twin, twin XL, full queen, king, and Cal king)
Warranty: One year
Trial: 30 nights
Price: from $149 at Nectar
Both mattress toppers are 2" in height and feature memory foam infused with cooling gel in addition to cooling fibers woven into the cover. However, the Firmer Mattress Topper aims to add support and stability for proper spinal alignment, whereas the Softer Mattress Topper aims to add softness to beds for optimized press
From today onwards, you can buy both the Nectar Firmer or Nectar Softer from $149 at Nectar, and that includes 30 nights to try them out, a 1-year warranty, and free shipping and returns.
A queen is under $200 at just $179, which is one of the best mattress topper deals we've seen from a reputable brand such as Nectar. However, don't expect the price to drop as Nectar mattress sales are pretty static.
Nectar Mattress Toppers: Price
The price of the Nectar Softer and Firmer toppers stay the same whichever firmness level you choose, so here are are the prices of both the Softer and Firmer Nectar Mattress Toppers:
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
- Nectar Mattress Topper twin: $149
- Nectar Mattress Topper twin XL: $149
- Nectar Mattress Topper full: $179
- Nectar Mattress Topper queen: $179
- Nectar Mattress Topper king: $199
- Nectar Mattress Topper Cal king: $199
The average price of a memory foam mattress topper of any price tier is $299, so a sub-$200 price tag for both a queen and a king means this mattress topper is pretty affordable (especially for a brand famous for having the best memory foam mattresses).
The month-long trial could be longer (Saatva, Puffy, and Helix all offer 100+ nights to test out their mattress toppers) as could the one year warranty (Tempur-Pedic's is 10 years). However, the free returns is a nice touch, as most mattress toppers charge a return fee.
Nectar Firmer or Softer Mattress Toppers (queen): $179 at Nectar
The Nectar Firmer and Softer Topper are both available in six sizes, from twin to Cal King, and are both $179 for a queen. They also come with extras, including free shipping and returns, a one-year warranty, and a 20-night sleep trial. We don't, however, expect to see them discounted in the monthly mattress sales.
Nectar Mattress Toppers: Features
Nectar is famous for producing some of the comfiest and best mattresses in a box, so it's only natural that they'd eventually launch a mattress topper. However, we weren't expecting to see two firmness options.
Both mattress toppers have a 2" height and a cooling cover with stitched-in "cooling fibers". They also feature memory foam infused cooling gel, but you can ignore the brag about airflow-bosting "open-cell technology"; literally all memory foam used in mattresses are open cell.
The design differences between the two models lie in its foam's firmness. The Firmer Topper features more supportive foam which aims to promote healthier spinal alignment by distributing your weight evenly. Meanwhile, the Softer Topper use plusher foam to "gently contour to your body".
Nectar recommends the Softer Mattress Toppers to those with hard beds and the Firmer Topper to those who find their mattress too soft or unsupportive.
