'Project Hail Mary' Prime Video streaming date finally revealed — here's when it's coming
Want to watch Rocky and Grace at home? Here's when you can stream this sci-fi blockbuster
Whether you saw "Project Hail Mary" in theaters or if you've been waiting to watch the Ryan Gosling sci-fi movie, you still want to know when to stream it. This blockbuster has already brought in over $683 million at the box office, so admittedly, there's a good chance you've seen it. But even if you have, you might want to see it again. After all, I declared it "the best movie of the year so far," and it only just lost the top spot to "The Invite" at the end of June.
I'm not alone in praising it either. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film is rated 94% fresh by critics and 95% fresh by audiences. Both of those are seriously impressive figures and mean that just about everyone who has seen this movie has liked it.
So now that one of the most anticipated movies of 2026 is officially one of the biggest (and best!) movies of the year, it's time to plan your watch, whether its you first time or you're already a repeat viewer. Here's when you can stream "Project Hail Mary" at home on Prime Video.
'Project Hail Mary' streaming release date
You can currently buy or rent "Project Hail Mary" from premium video-on-demand (PVOD) streaming services. This includes Amazon, Apple TV and Fandango at Home, but feel free to use the digital store of your choice.
"Project Hail Mary" is currently streaming on MGM+. It's been there since June 18. Starting July 3, "Project Hail Mary" will be streaming on Prime Video. So don't feel like you need to sign up for MGM+ if you want to watch this 2026 blockbuster. If you have Amazon Prime, you have Prime Video, and that means you can stream this movie.
