Kicking off in Tabor Czechia on November 23rd and finishing two months later in Hoogerheide in the Netherlands, this year’s World Cup is packed with epic courses from start to finish.
From the sand dunes of Koksijde to the giant descents of Zonhoven via the savage climbs of Namur the riders will have to master each and every surface and terrain that comes their way if they want to take the overall title.
The cross season is well under way with multiple rounds of the Superprestige, X2O and Exact series already having been held but now it’s time for the big races, the World Cup.
Pre season, all eyes were trained on Thibau Nys who publicly stated he wanted to dominate this year and curtailed his summer racing to prepare properly for the cross campaign. In his first race he did indeed dominate taking a commanding win in the Koppenberg Cross but since then it’s been Joris Nieuwenhuis who has bagged the most victories with three already. Nys has taken another win and Michael Vanthourenhout also has a pair.
With star riders Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert and Tom Pidcock likely to only make an appearance a select few times over the festive period and Eli Iserbyt sidelined with complications from iliac artery surgeries it’s a new guard who are set to shape proceedings. Riders like Joran Wyseure, Emiel Verstrynge, Niels Vandeputte and the in form British champion Cameron Mason.
In the women’s series, the out and out favourite will be current World Champion Fem Van Empel who won her first race of the season with ease. However it’s Lucinda Brand who has had the best start to the season taking six wins already. Other riders to watch out for are the Italian Sara Casasola who has a win in her legs this year as does Marion Norbert Riberolle and with names like Puck Pietese, the GOAT, Marianne Vos and new French sensation Celia Gery the fields will be stacked.

The feed is, however, sometimes freely available in the US, Canada, and Australia.
In Belgium, the World Cup is shown by the free-to-air public broadcasters – VRT / Sporza in the north and RTBF in the south.
In the Netherlands public broadcaster NOS often has free live streams on its platform, NPO Start, and Rai will be showing the Italian round on December 7th.
Coverage varies by race, but keep an eye on this page for event by event updates.
Outside any of these countries? Don't worry — you can unlock your stream via NordVPN instead. We'll show you how to do that below.

Covering the British Isles, Belgium, France, Italy and Spain he has been riding and racing up hills and mountains for over 30 years now.
