Black Friday is officially here, and if you've been holding out until the big day to find a Black Friday mattress deal, now's the time to shop. The sales have been building up all month, with discounts from top brands including Saatva, Tempur-Pedic and Eight Sleep, and this weekend is as good as it's going to get for anyone in search of the best mattress at a low price.

We've already spotted a couple of impressive flash deals from big sleep brands. Purple has upped discounts across its entire mattress range and the prices are the lowest we've seen in a very long time, so move fast if you want to get a queen PurplePlus mattress for $1,519 (was $1,899) at Purple — cheaper than last year's Black Friday deal.

If you want even more mattress deal content, be sure to check out our Black Friday mattress deals live blog for the most up-to-date news and deals.

Black Friday mattress deals 2025: The best sales

1. Saatva Classic: queen was $2,139 now $1,739 at Saatva
Our top recommendation for all sleepers, the Saatva Classic comes in three firmness levels and two heights (11.5" or 14.5"), so you can tailor the feel to your preferences. Super-luxurious and with enhanced lumbar support, we ran out of superlatives in our Saatva Classic mattress review. The only people we don't recommend it for are couples who weigh over 600lbs — check out the best mattresses for heavy people instead. Saatva's Black Friday mattress sale is underway with $400 off all sizes, reducing a queen Classic to $1,739 (was $2,139). That matches this year's Memorial Day and Labor Day Saatva mattress sales, making now the time to buy. A 365-night trial, lifetime warranty, and free white glove delivery are included.

2. Siena 10" Signature Mattress: queen was $349 now $244 at Amazon
Amazon's Black Friday sale has kicked off with a mega price drop on our favorite cheap mattress — up to 30% off reduces a queen 10" Siena to a new low price of $244. We recently re-reviewed the Siena Mattress and it aced our Sleep Lab tests, delivering better motion isolation and support than even some of our favorite luxury mattresses (you can read all about it in our Siena Mattress review.) It's a favorite among stomach and back sleepers but side sleepers should consider something softer, like the EGOHOME below.

3. DreamCloud Classic Hybrid mattress: queen $699 + free bedding at DreamCloud
DreamCloud's Black Friday sale is a dream for anyone who needs a full bed refresh on a tighter budget; you can get a queen mattress and a free bedding bundle for just $699. We've seen this DreamCloud mattress sale a few times this year but the price still impresses us, particularly as the DreamCloud is the best mattress in a box we've tested. Our DreamCloud Classic Hybrid Mattress review calls it a 'fantastic mid-range option for most people,' but especially for side sleepers who want plush cushioning without massive sinkage. It comes with a 365-night trial, lifetime warranty... and a touch of luxury.

4. Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress: queen $649 at Nectar
The Nectar Classic Memory Foam mattress offers gentle contouring and head-to-toe support, delivering comfort to most sleep styles — and it's only $649 for a queen. A Black Friday deal in name only, this Nectar mattress sale has been running throughout 2025, but with prices this good, we can't complain. In our Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress review our testing team agrees it's an excellent choice for adults and growing teens, although for a plusher foam feel, upgrade to the Nectar Premier Memory Foam Mattress. Benefits like a 365-night trial and lifetime warranty are the cherry on top.

5. EGOHOME Black 12" Hybrid Mattress: queen was $439.99 now $352 with code EARLYBF at EGOHOME
This budget hybrid from EGOHOME punches well above its price tag. It's garnered a lot of love from Amazon shoppers, and after sleeping on it for our EGOHOME Black 12" Hybrid Mattress review, we understand why — it boasts consistent edge-to-edge support and dampens movement well for a spring-based mattress. Comfort-wise, we say it's suited for average and heavier-weight side sleepers, as well as lightweight back sleepers. Code EARLYBF now takes 20% off (instead of 15% off), bringing a queen down to $352.

6. The WinkBed: queen was $2,570 now $1,799 at WinkBed
WinkBed's flagship mattress is a luxury handcrafted hybrid that promises exceptional back support — a promise we felt it more than delivered on during our WinkBed mattress review. A slight price hike means the WinkBed is a bit of an investment but at $1,799 for a queen it's a rival to our favorite luxury mattresses. And the WinkBed has impressive versatility, with four firmness levels (including a Plus upgrade for sleepers with bigger builds) and an optional cooling cover for $125.

7. Bear Elite Hybrid: queen was $2,570 now $1,542 with code TOMS40 + free accessories at Bear
The best cooling mattress on the market today is the Bear Elite, a 14" hybrid that comes in three firmness levels to suit any sleep style. It features copper-infused memory foam and coils to help draw heat away, a combo our testers found effective in our Bear Elite Hybrid mattress review. We tested an Elite Hybrid with the optional Celliant cover, designed to boost cooling and improve recovery. If you've been debating the upgrade, now's the time to shop, as you can save 40% with code TOMS40, reducing a queen-size with a Celliant cover to just $1,627.20. Not only is that a generous upgrade, but Bear also throws in a set of sheets, pillows, and a mattress protector for a complete bedroom refresh.

8. Helix Midnight Luxe: queen was $2,798 now $1,751 with code TOMS27 at Helix Sleep
The Helix Midnight Luxe is hands-down the best mattress for side sleepers — the combination of a lush, cushioned pillow top with a zoned support base creates a balanced feel that'll soothe the joints while keeping the spine in a neutral position. However, it's quite versatile; in our Helix Midnight Luxe mattress review, we found it comfortable for back sleeping as well. And we know how to beat Helix's Black Friday sale — use code TOMS27 to save 27% on every bed in the Helix line-up. (If the Midnight doesn't catch your eye, we love the Dusk Luxe for stomach sleeping.) Helix does sometimes add a free bedding bundle, so stay glued to this page for the latest sale updates.

9. Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud Mattress: queen was $1,999 now $1,399.30 at Tempur-Pedic
The entry level mattress in Tempur-Pedic's line-up, the Tempur-Cloud still features signature Tempur Material foams for oodles of cushioning. And with 30% off in the Tempur-Pedic mattress sales, a queen is $1,399.30. We gave it top marks for motion isolation in our Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud mattress review and if you want that classic Tempur-Pedic full-body 'hug', this is the most affordable way to get it. While the current sale is nothing new, we did see up to 40% off the Tempur-Cloud mattress when purchased with an adjustable base over Memorial Day and we hope that deal will return for Black Friday.

10. PurplePlus Mattress: twin was $1,499 now $1,139 at Purple
The PurplePlus mattress is an upgrade to the standard Purple mattress that offers the same pressure relief but with even more support. In our Purple Plus mattress review, we found while it's not hugely luxurious, it provides plenty of cushioning and cradling support. Purple doesn't run sales the whole year round and we thought it had settled on its Black Friday deals, but it's just rolled out some flash savings that bring its entire mattress range down to the lowest prices we've seen in ages. A queen PurplePlus is usually reduced to $1,599 but right now you can buy it for just $1,519. That's a better price than last year's Black Friday deal, so don't waste any time making the most of this.

Dreaming of a holiday getaway? With Marriott Hotels' Black Friday mattress sale, you can enjoy vacation-level sleep year-round. The Westin Heavenly Bed is a plush hybrid mattress that promises to be your "personal sleep sanctuary" — we described it as "supportive, luxurious" when we got hands-on with the Heavenly Bed. The mattresses used in hotels are typically premium designs and the Westin Heavenly Bed is no different, but 35% off is the best deal we've seen in a long time and means you can nab a queen-size for $1,621 on sale. That's a price comparable to the best luxury mattresses, but note that a box spring is recommended and sold separately. Delivery is also not included.

11. Avocado Green Mattress: queen was $2,099 now $1,679 at Avocado Green
The brand's flagship model is our best organic mattress overall. It comes in a firm feel by default — a great fit for back sleepers as we discovered in our Avocado Green Mattress review — but upgrade to a medium pillow-top or plush box-top if you're a side sleeper or on the lighter side. Just know that these upgrades will add substantially to the final cost. Either way, you'll score 20% off. Standard Avocado mattress sales tend to max out at 15% off, so this Black Friday saving is better than usual. A queen is $1,679, and you get a year's trial and a 25-year warranty.

13. Siena Signature Memory Foam Mattress: queen was $359 now $244 at Amazon
The Siena Signature Memory Foam Mattress is our top budget mattress pick, thanks to its outstanding comfort and support. For a cheap all-foam mattress, we found it to be surprisingly breathable. It also isolates motion well, boasts excellent edge support, and is so supportive around the lower lumbar region that we've included it in our guide to the best mattresses for back pain. Buy directly from Siena and you'll pay $359; however, Amazon is undercutting that price, with a queen dropping to $244. That's the lowest price it's ever been. It still comes with Siena's 180-night sleep trial and 10-year warranty.

Should you wait for the Black Friday mattress deals?

Short answer: no, the Black Friday mattress deals are here so you can start shopping without worrying you'll miss out on the mega savings. Shopping now also gets you ahead of the delivery queues, so you'll be snoozing soundly even sooner.

Longer answer: Research shows that in 2024, the biggest price drops on furniture occurred over Cyber Monday and in select cases, we think the best deals are yet to come. (Purple usually hosts a better offer on Cyber Monday, for example, while Casper and Tempur-Pedic have yet to match the big deals we saw over Memorial Day.)

And for bargain shoppers who don't mind a risk, Amazon's mattress deals are rarely static. Delaying your purchase might mean a further drop on a budget-friendly bed... or a missed opportunity and your guests sleeping on the couch.

Because waiting can sometimes lead to disappointment. For example, a few weeks ago, we saw a price jump on the Cocoon by Sealy Chill mattress. A queen went from $699 to $919 — but at least the free bedding bundle has remained intact!

Black Friday mattress deals 2025: Analysis

We track mattress deals year-round and in 2025 we've observed several trends that are influencing how the Black Friday mattress sales play out. These are some of the major trends we've observed... and some we're still expecting:

Two members of our sleep team stand either side of a stack of the best memory foam mattresses we've tested, including the Nectar and Siena, balanced on a bed frame

The discounts will be as good as last year — but the prices will be higher
Bain predicted tariffs would hit the furniture industry hardest, and we have seen price hikes on mattresses across 2025. In real terms, that means the Saatva Classic cost $1,695 for a queen in the President’s Day sale and $1,739 during Labor Day — even though it was $400 off on both occasions.

Retailers in home goods ... likely face the most gross margin pressure due to their heavy exposure to foreign products

Bain

But shopping now can help you save in the long run
Prices on mattresses, particularly luxury mattresses, have risen during the course of the year and that’s not a trend we expect to reverse any time soon. In the Black Friday mattress sales you’re likely to see the lowest prices for the foreseeable future.

Amazon and Walmart are fighting for the cheap mattress crown
Pre-Memorial Day, Amazon reduced a Siena Mattress to just $279 for a queen — it's now only $244. But Amazon faces tough competition from Walmart, with big savings on NapQueen, Zinus and Allswell mattresses. If your budget is tight, these are the places to look.

Blanket discounts on luxury hotel mattresses
Mattresses used in hotels are known for crowd-pleasing luxury comfort... and a high price. Last year, 30% off the Westin Heavenly Bed was among our favorite Black Friday mattress sales. This year, Marriott bought its sleep brands under one roof. As a result, we're seeing 35% off all mattress — including Ritz-Carlton and Westin — resulting in some of the lowest prices we've recorded.

Almost 90% of buyers [are] prioritizing sleep quality over quantity

US Pillows and Mattress Market Report

Sales will reflect the trend towards luxury
The US Pillows and Mattress Market Report found consumers are prioritizing personalized, quality sleep, with eco-friendly materials also driving demand. To accommodate this, we predict we’ll see sales tailored towards luxury, smart, and eco-sleep solutions; typically the most expensive mattress types.

Free gifts and perks are enhancing the deals
Earlier this year Helix, Nolah and Bear ended their long-running free pillow offer, while Cocoon by Sealy’s once-standard free bedding bundle now alternates with a $50 instant credit gift. But these perks are slowly trickling in with the Black Friday sales, including a free bedding bundle at Bear and free white glove delivery with select purchases at Nolah.

Black Friday mattress sales FAQ

When is Black Friday 2025?

Black Friday 2025 falls on 28th November — yes, it's that soon. This is the Friday directly after Thanksgiving, so the holiday weekend gives you plenty of time to shop the sales.

Cyber Monday — another big mattress sales days — is the Monday following Black Friday. In 2025, that's Monday 1st December.

Those are the official dates but based on previous years, we predict the deals will start much sooner. We'll start actively looking for discounts by late October.

Is Black Friday a good time to buy a mattress?

Black Friday is an excellent time to buy a mattress as this popular sales event is likely to bring discounts from all major sleep brands, as well as large sales at retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Macy's and Mattress Firm.

While Black Friday was once the undisputed leader of mattress sales, it now faces tough competition from Memorial Day, President's Day and Labor Day. In 2025, brands including Saatva, Helix and Tempur-Pedic announced Black Friday-rivaling price drops during these earlier sales. We'll be interested to see if Black Friday can beat them...

However, even though rival sales events have compared to Black Friday, they never been able to top it. November is still our favorite time to save on a mattress.

Black Friday vs Cyber Monday: which mattress deals are better

Cyber Monday is the Monday directly after Black Friday. This year, that's Monday 1st December. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the big mattress sales days to mark the end of the year but which is better?

Two members of the Tom's Guide sleep team sit on the Saatva Classic mattress on a bed frame in our testing studio, discussing the comfort and support of the Saatva Classic, our number one mattress for most sleep styles

When it comes to mattress sales, there's usually little to choose between Black Friday vs Cyber Monday. Often the best mattress deals will run from Black Friday through the holiday weekend, with the same discounts continuing to Cyber Monday.

There are some deals that will end before Cyber Monday and, conversely, some sales that won't start until Cyber Monday — but these are the exception. The vast majority of mattress sales will stay steady from Black Friday on the 29th November through to Cyber Monday on December 1st.

Do stores run Black Friday mattress sales?

Mattress stores will run Black Friday mattress sales and many of these deals will be comparable to the offers we see online.

The major advantage of going to a mattress store to purchase is you get to test the bed before you buy. But shopping online often comes with a built-in testing period: the sleep trial. This allows you to use the bed at home for a set number of nights (typically 100) and return it for a full or partial refund if it doesn't meet your needs.

If you are interested in buying a mattress in-store this Black Friday, we recommend doing your research beforehand. Familiarize yourself with the MSRP of the mattress, its usual sale price and the brand's sleep trial and warranty period.
