You get the picture - "Die Hard" meets "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three". And they're all stuck in this claustrophobic metal tube as time counts down to their ultimate demise with only our hero available to save the day. He's done it before (see "Hijack" season 1) but can he do it again?

Is "Hijack" season 2 a sequel?
Yes and no. Takes place two years after the original season, central characters remain and there are references to the previous events (often through clever Easter eggs such as the contact list on Sam's phone) but season 2 is a self-contained story that requires no assumed familiarity. Probably best to think of it as a "thematic continuation."
