Is "Hijack" season 2 a sequel?
Yes and no. Takes place two years after the original season, central characters remain and there are references to the previous events (often through clever Easter eggs such as the contact list on Sam's phone) but season 2 is a self-contained story that requires no assumed familiarity. Probably best to think of it as a "thematic continuation."
