Two-time world champion Alexander Volkanovski will face challenger Diego Lopes in a featherweight title rematch. The pair last met at UFC 314 in Florida, where Volkanovski secured a unanimous decision after five rounds. “The Great” will look to repeat that result, especially on home soil – a moment that’s expected to be an emotional one for the 28-year-old.
However, Volkanovski enters under pressure after a lean recent run, having lost two of his last three fights against Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev. He has since shut down retirement rumors, confirming he has no plans to walk away after this bout. Lopes earned his rematch by knocking out Jean Silva in the second round at Noche UFC in September and will be eager to settle the score this time around.
Dan Hooker vs. Benoît Saint Denis headlines the co-main event in their first-ever meeting. The UFC lightweight veteran takes on the 30-year-old southpaw, who comes in riding a three-fight winning streak.
It’ll also be exciting to see Tai Tuivasa return after missing the entire 2025 season following five straight losses. He’ll face knockout specialist Tallison Teixeira as he looks to reassert himself in the division.
