Saatva Has Launched a Huge Sale on All Its Luxury Beds — And There's One Our Mattress Testers Would Line Up to Buy

Saatva offers plenty of high-quality premium beds, but there's only one that's undoubtedly the creme-de-la-creme of luxury hybrid mattresses: the Saatva Classic. And right now, you can save $400 on the Classic mattress at Saatva, bringing a queen size to $1,739 (was $2,139).

Tom's Guide sleep team have somewhat of a love affair with the Saatva Classic. We've tested over 110 beds, yet the Saatva has come out on top in our best mattress guide for four years running — we simply can't find a more versatile, comfortable and supportive bed.

The Labor Day mattress sales are one of the best times of year to invest in a luxury Saatva mattress. MSRP may have risen slightly ($40), so we don't predict the Saatva Classic will get any cheaper for the rest of the year. Here's why we think this mattress is worth every cent...

Saatva Classic: twin was $1,399 now $999 at Saatva
Giving a stellar 5-star performance in our Saatva Classic mattress review, this luxury hybrid impressed everyone on our fussy sleep team (it's the only mattress we've ever given 5 stars). Available in three firmness levels and two heights, it can be fine tuned to your sleeping style and comfort preferences. We've been tracking Saatva mattress sales for years now and the best deal we tend to see is this $400 off. The Classic may not be the absolute cheapest price of the year (a queen size sold for $1,689 around Memorial Day in May when MSRP was lower), but in the current financial climes, we don't expect it to get any cheaper going forward. Every Saatva comes with a one year sleep trial, lifetime mattress warranty and free white glove delivery. Though a slight gripe is the fact returns and exchanges cost $99.

The full package

There was a real buzz among Tom's Guide sleep team when the Saatva Classic arrived for testing in our sleep studio. And after three days of thorough testing there and seven months in our Senior Sleep Editor Claire Davies' home where she analyzed every inch of the mattress, we were not disappointed.

As a certified sleep science coach, Claire knows a good mattress when she sleeps on one. So what were her thoughts on the Saatva Classic? Claire says this mattress is "the whole package for most sleepers" and credits it for eliminating her post-pregnancy back pain.

According to Claire, the Saatva Classic provides "epic lower back support" and our Sleep Features Editor Lauren Jeffries says: "I felt instant support from this mattress both when lying on my side and lying on my back."

The mattress also got top marks for temperature regulation. Our lead tester overheats regularly while sleeping, especially during her period. But she remained temperature neutral through the night on the Saatva Classic. That said, if you are a severely hot sleeper shopping on a tighter budget, you may want to consider a hybrid mattress with more specialized cooling tech like the affordable Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Hybrid mattress below.

After testing, the Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid mattress also got kudos from our sleep team. Thanks to heat-conducting copper foams and its cool-to-touch GlacioTex cover, we rate the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid as one of the best cooling mattresses of the year. Although it feels luxury to sleep on, it doesn't sport a premium price tag and it's even better value now when you use our exclusive discount link TOMS32 which brings a queen size down to a record low price of $905.76 (was $1,332 and still $932.40 after 30% off in standard Brooklyn Bedding mattress sale). Free shipping, a lifetime warranty and 120-night sleep trial are included too.
