Early Prime Day deals are rolling in and here's one you won't want to miss. You can buy a queen-size Siena Memory Foam mattress for just $288.99 at Amazon, down from $359 when you buy direct from Siena. That's just $10 more than the lowest price we've ever recorded on this budget friendly bed.
The Siena Memory Foam Mattress (now rebranded as the Siena Signature) is one of the best mattresses we've ever tested for its ultra low price. While a queen is usually sold for $359 directly from Siena, the above early Prime Day mattress deal undercuts that price by $70.
We rate the Siena mattress as 9/10 for firmness. Although it's firm, it also boasts unbeatable pressure relief for back and stomach sleepers. Need something softer? We track the best mattress sales all month, where you'll find top deals for all sleep types. But first, let's take a closer look at the Siena.
Siena Memory Foam mattress: queen was $349 now $288.99 at Amazon
The Siena Memory Foam is excellent value at its regular sale price direct from the brand ($359 for a queen.) But a queen is now down to just $288.99 at Amazon, that's only $10 more than the lowest price we've ever seen it on sale for. In our Siena Memory Foam Mattress review we found that this firm all-foam mattress was supportive but pressure relieving for back and stomach sleepers, and that it stayed pretty cool for a memory foam bed. You'll also get a 180-night sleep trial and a 10-year warranty from Amazon, the same as Siena offers if you buy direct.
Is this memory foam mattress right for you?
The Siena Memory Foam mattress is tops our guide to the best cheap mattresses you can buy online. As a budget all-foam option, it has a simpler design than you might find in pricier memory foam mattresses. However, during resting we felt the build quality matched mid-range beds on the market.
As one of the best memory foam mattresses on the market, the Siena features two foam layers under a breathable fabric cover. First is a contouring memory foam, and below that is a thicker layer of stability foam for support. There's also a durable bottom cover to help protect the mattress.
After reviewing it, we found it was much firmer than the 6/10 advertised, rating it 9 out of 10 in the firmness scale. That firmness makes it ideal for back and stomach sleepers looking for robust support and ample pressure relief.
As a firmer mattress, it doesn't give the typical 'hug' feel that you'd expect from memory foam, so if you are looking for something plusher, we recommend the Nectar Classic Memory Foam (more on that below.)
Motion isolation and edge support are excellent on the Siena, making it a great choice for those sharing a bed, and temperature regulation was surprisingly good for a budget friendly all-foam mattress.
If you want something a little softer...
Nectar Classic Memory Foam mattress: twin from $379 at Nectar Sleep
Standing at 12" and featuring five layers, our Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress review testers rated this mattress at 7.5 out of 10 for firmness. While this isn't super soft, it translated a level of support and pressure relief that worked for all sleep positions, although side and back sleepers will likely enjoy it most. As you would expect from a memory foam mattress, it dampens motion well (great news for restless bed sharers.) Plus, it comes with a cool-to-touch, breathable cover that can help with overheating at night. It's slightly pricier than the Siena, with a queen regularly sold at $649 in monthly Nectar mattress sales, but you also get a generous 365-night sleep trial and lifetime warranty.
