I'm a mattress tester and the bed I recommend to everyone is on sale — the 3 Saatva deals I'd shop and the 1 I'd skip

Saatva's Presidents' Day sale has arrived and among the stand-out deals, there's a $400 discount that allows you to buy the best-selling Classic mattress from just $999 at Saatva. It's the best mattress we've tested for all sleep styles and from my experience, it's worth the investment.

I've been hands-on with the Saatva Classic and it most impressed me with its exceptional support. Whatever sleep position you prefer, the Classic has your back. Our Sleep Editor once described it as a "full-body massage."

But with our exclusive links you can save $400 on all mattresses over $1,000 at Saatva — and a few deals have caught my eye.

3 Saatva mattress deals to shop now

1. Saatva Classic (twin)
Best overall
1. Saatva Classic (twin): was $1,399 now $999 at Saatva

During our extensive Saatva Classic mattress review process we examined this luxury bed from top-to-toe and struggled to find fault. The plush top cushions the pressure points while the patented support holds the spine straight to prevent aches. With three feels available, the only people we don't recommend this mattress for is those weighing over 300lbs — the Saatva HD or WinkBed Plus are better options. $400 off is the best discount you're likely to get on the Classic and $1,779 for a queen (was $2,179) is a good price for the best hybrid mattress we've tried.

2. Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid (twin)
Exceptional relief
2. Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid (twin): was $1,349 now $949 at Saatva

"Perfect for all types of sleepers," is how we described Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid mattress in our review, awarding it high marks for temperature regulation as well. It's not quite as versatile as the Classic (the Memory Foam Hybrid only comes in one firmness) but it is slightly cheaper in the Saatva mattress sale — a queen is now only $1,699, down from $2,099.

3. Saatva Latex Hybrid (twin)
Eco comfort
3. Saatva Latex Hybrid (twin): was $1,699 now $1,299 at Saatva

Built using bouncy natural latex foams, this is one of our favorite organic mattresses. The combination of latex and springs gives it a responsive, firm support that's ideal for back and stomach sleepers, while also enhancing temperature regulation — you should be able to navigate night sweats comfortably on this bed. A queen was $2,599 but is down to $2,199 in the sale and based on the enthusiasm in our Saatva Latex Hybrid Mattress review, we think that's a good price.

And one deal I'd wait to shop...

Saatva Solaire (twin XL)
Adjustable comfort
Saatva Solaire (twin XL): was $3,499 now $3,099 at Saatva

A member of our testing team has been hands-on with the Saatva Solaire mattress and praised how this low-tech adjustable bed offers personalized comfort without confusion. A great pick if you have aches and pains (it's one of the best smart beds for seniors) but at $4,199 for a queen (was $4,599), you're best off waiting for Saatva to run one of its tiered sales. These 'buy more to save more' sales tend to bring the biggest discounts on the Solaire.
