I track mattress sales for a living and this Nectar deal stopped me in my tracks — up to £115 off the usual price
Right now, you can snag a single mattress for just £199
I track mattress deals daily, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw this massive price drop at Nectar. Right now, a single size is down to £199 at Nectar — it was £314 not long ago.
This is a major discount on the single size and it's not the only saving that's caught my eye at Nectar. In fact, you can snag a double for £399, a discount of £50 from the price it was last week.
We rated the Nectar Memory Foam as the best mattress we've tested if you're looking for a memory foam bed. It boasts contouring pressure relief and we found that it's comfortable in most sleep positions.

This is the biggest price drop I've ever seen on the Nectar Memory Foam Mattress and possibly my favorite deal of the year so far. The single size is down to £199 — that's £115 cheaper than it was last week. A double is also down £50, bringing the price to £399. This mattress offers a medium-firm feel that gives a good balance of pressure relief and support for most sleep styles. It's an excellent choice for either a spare room (your guests will love it) or a master bed. You'll also get a 365-night trial and a lifetime warranty.
If this mattress right for you?
As we mentioned, this mattress gives a medium-firm feel and is best suited to back and stomach sleepers.
That's not to say side-sleepers won't find comfort on this mattress. If you're like me, a side-sleeper who prefers a firmer mattress, this is a solid option. The only thing we would note is that side sleepers may need to spend a little time breaking it in.
After testing the Nectar, we found this mattress regulates temperature well, which is important if you're a hot sleeper. You shouldn't have to worry about sweaty nights, which can be a problem for all-foam beds.
It also has a durable build, so we feel the Nectar is excellent value for money.
For a hybrid option with a bit more bounce...
The Origin Hybrid mattress is another excellent value for money mattress, but this time it's a hybrid build. It's made of bamboo-infused wool, the brand's unique Hexagrid material and steel springs, so it'll have a bit more bounce than the all-foam Nectar, making it easier to change positions. Right now, a single is £305 (was £501) and a double is £379 (was £575). You'll also get one free Origin Coolmax Latex Pillow with your mattress purchase.
