Black Friday is fast approaching. That means you could save some serious money on a mattress purchases by simply hanging on for a few short weeks (the Black Friday mattress sales usually mean the lowest prices of the year.) But right now, a queen size DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is $699 at DreamCloud with a $599 sleep bundle included, and there's not much room for movement on that price.

I've been keeping an eye on mattress sales for a good few years now, and I have a pretty good feel for which brands are likely to deliver the best savings for major sales events like Black Friday. And if you're thinking about plumping for the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid, which is one of the best mattresses around, I have to tell you: you might as well buy one now instead of waiting.

The current DreamCloud sale promises to take up to 60% off mattresses, and while we take this with a large pinch of salt because you never see the DreamCloud at full price, there's no denying that the price you'll actually pay is excellent value. With this deal a queen size DreamCloud Classic will cost you $699, which is an impressive price whichever way you look at it, and you'll get a mattress protector, sheet set and pillows included.

Will there be a better DreamCloud deal for Black Friday?

That's a tricky one to answer. What I can tell you is that for Labor Day, DreamCloud took an extra $50 off a queen size Classic, bringing the price down to $649 with the same sleep bundle included. And I've seen lower prices than that on the DreamCloud Classic this year, too: occasionally DreamCloud has sold it without the sleep bundle for $599 in a queen size.

Speaking as someone who already has more than enough bedding, thank you, I'd be very happy to see a similar deal for Black Friday; failing that, an extra $50 off would be welcome. However there's a big potential fly in the ointment in the form of mattress tariffs.

I've started seeing prices creep up at various sleep brands, and I don't know how long many brands will be able to hold their current prices down for. DreamCloud has a manufacturing facility in the US, but it doesn't say where its materials come from, which is a sign that they're probably imported and likely to be hit by tariffs.

All this means that prices increases could be on the way from DreamCloud, and that you could be better off buying sooner rather than later. Realistically I'd expect DreamCloud to nail its prices down until after Black Friday; whether or not we'll see a better deal than the current one between now and then is another matter.
