3 mattresses that will help you sleep through the night if you keep waking up because you're too hot — and they're all on sale this Black Friday
Saatva, Siena, Bear: Our favorite cooling beds are at their best prices of the year
For some people, sleeping hot isn’t just a seasonal problem. Waking in pools of sweat and with the covers in a tangled heap at your feet is a year-round affliction. However, a cooling mattress goes a long way in keeping temperatures regulated, helping you to sleep comfortably all night long.
All of the best mattresses we’ve tested this year boast a certain degree of reliable temperature regulation. However, three mattresses in particular stand out for their cooling performance.
After a rigorous round of re-testing, the Saatva Classic, Bear Elite Hybrid and Siena Signature Mattress are all among the very best cooling mattresses for all budgets and sleep needs. And in even better news? All three are discounted back to their lowest price ahead of Black Friday.
There’s a straight $400 off all sizes of the Classic at Saatva, bringing a queen down to $1,739 from $2,139. (That’s the biggest discount you can ever expect). On the other end of the price spectrum, the Siena is $244 for a queen at Amazon, which is the lowest price we’ve ever tracked this mattress. Scroll below for more details...

3 Black Friday deals for hot sleepers
Bear Elite Hybrid mattress with Celliant: twin was from $1,998 now from $1,198.80 at Bear Mattress
The mattress: Packed with cooling technology, it didn't come as a surprise when the Bear Elite Hybrid mattress with Celliant earnt a perfect 5 out of 5 stars in our objective thermal tests. Already featuring copper-infused foams for cooling, individually wrapped coils to boost airflow and moisture-wicking technology in the cover as standard, but the addition of the Celliant cover upgrade really elevates the cooling capabilities of this mattress (the Celliant transforms heat into infrared energy, according to Bear). allowing it to quickly absorb heat away from the body and dissipate it — which it excelled in during our tests. When our lead reviewer slept on it at home (in a warm attic bedroom, might we add), they were able to sleep peacefully without breaking a sweat. Therefore, we recommend it to chronically hot sleepers.
The deal: Bear mattress sales tend to knock 30% to 35% off the Elite Hybrid. But you're in luck, Tom's Guide readers, as our exclusive discount code TOMS40 is taking 40% off this Black Friday. This reduces a queen size with Celliant upgrade to $1,456.20 (was $2,427) which is the lowest price we've seen this year. Plus there's a free bedding bundle worth $320 included. Take it from us, that's exceptional value on one of the best hybrid mattresses around.

Saatva Classic mattress: twin was from $1,399 now from $999 at Saatva
The mattress: The Saatva Classic needs no introduction. It's the best mattress we've tested for the fifth year running and sits at the top of our best luxury mattress guide. Unbeaten in our pressure relief tests, it offers knockout comfort and support and a luxury feel, alongside impressive temperature control. It was only marginally beaten by the Bear Elite in our thermal tests; our data showed it remained steadily cool, which matches our real-life experiences. Our lead reviewer, Sleep Editor and Certified Sleep Coach Claire Davies is a hot sleeper and she says: "The Saatva is the only mattress that's felt consistently cool to me."
The deal: As a premium mattress, the Saatva is an investment, but the current Saatva Black Friday sale is knocking $400 off when you follow our semi-exclusive link. That cuts a queen size to $1,739 (was $2,139). After testing every inch of the bed, we're confident its quality justifies the price, and considering free White Glove Delivery, a 365-night sleep trial and a lifetime warranty are included, you can rest assured you're getting exceptional value for money.

Siena Signature mattress: twin was from $199 now from $159 at Amazon
The mattress: Granted, the Bear and Saatva are luxury beds for sleepers looking to invest heavily in their sleep. But if your budget doesn't stretch as far, the 10" Siena Signature memory foam mattress is the cooling bed for you. On the firm side, it is best suited to stomach and back sleepers who need a responsive bed surface you lay on top of rather than sink into, but side sleepers may find it isn't cushioning enough. All-foam beds tend to trap heat, but the Siena performed well for a memory foam mattress in our thermal tests, and our real-world experience and tester feedback indicates it sleeps cooler than other beds of a similar price. Ultimately, you'll be hard pressed to find a mattress better than the Sienna at temperature regulation in the same price bracket.
The deal: Our seasoned mattress reviewer Ruth Jones spotted this immense price cut in Amazon's Black Friday sale. Cheaper than ever before, you can get a queen size for just $244, reduced from $349. That's an absolute steal on a bed of this quality and we don't think it can possibly get any cheaper. It comes with a 180-night trial plus a 10-year warranty too, adding even more value for money.
