New Zealand are going through a transition period under Scott Robertson, who took charge of the national team after the All Blacks finished as runners-up at last year's World Cup. This will be New Zealand's first test since that narrow 11-12 defeat by South Africa in the final. Robertson has promised a new style of play, although it may take time before we see that come to fruition. Scott Barrett has been named captain and five uncapped players have been called up for the two meetings with England.

England have had significantly more game time than their upcoming opponents in recent months. Steve Borthwick's team finished third at this year's Six Nations, before thrashing Japan 52-17 last month. While this England side may be more settled than New Zealand, they have not beaten the All Blacks on their own turf since 2003. In total, England have won just eight of 43 matches between the pair.

New Zealand XV: Perofeta; Reece, Ioane, J. Barrett, Telea; McKenzie, Perenara; De Groot, Taylor, Lomax, S. Barrett, Tuipulotu, Finau, Papali’i, Savea.

England XV: Furbank; Feyi-Waboso, Slade, Lawrence, Freeman; Smith, Mitchell; Marler, George, Stuart; Itoje, Martin; Cunningham-South, Underhill, Earl.
