Halt the sleep divorce, this Black Friday deal is here to put your disagreements to bed. You can finally save up to $400/£400 off the new Pod 5 at Eight Sleep, plus get money off smart accessories like the thermo-regulating blanket and pod pillow cover.

After sleeping on the Eight Sleep Pod 4, I rate it as the best smart bed you can buy online this year. With upgraded sleep tracking sensors, even more advanced climate control and an adjustable bed base included, the new Pod 5 smart bed system pushes personalized sleep even further.

In previous mattress sales we haven't seen more than $350/£350 off the Pod 5 Ultra. So, the current Black Friday mattress deal is worth shouting about. Here's how to get the best value yet on this top-rated smart bed holding state-of-the-art sleep tech...

Eight Sleep Pod 5 Ultra: queen was from $5,049/£4,449 now from $4,649/£4,049 at Eight Sleep
The Eight Sleep Pod 5 launched back in May at an introductory price of $4,899 for a queen size. We saw it go for $4,699 around Memorial Day later that month, but the current price is the lowest we've seen since. With a queen now at $4,649, we think this Black Friday deal is epic. Eight Sleep mattress sales are rare and hardly ever as generous as other mattress and sleep tech brands. But, as a luxury product, you must expect the luxury price tag: we're talking about a fully immersive, customized sleep space that tracks your sleep and adjusts to your movements through the night, after all. That said, you do have to pay a subscription fee to access all this tech, starting at $17 per month. Sleep benefits include a 30-night sleep trial, 2-year limited warranty and free shipping.

Eight Sleep Pod Pillow Cover (Two-Pack): standard/king was $1,649/£1,399 now $1,449/£1,199 at Eight Sleep
The Eight Sleep Pod Pillow Cover is the latest release from Eight Sleep, launched just last month. It works on the same principle as the brand's mattress cover, featuring water-based cooling and heating technology. It comes in two sizes, standard and king, and currently has up to $200/£200 off in the Black Friday sale. This drops the price of a single Pillow Cover in either size to $949 (from $1,049) or a double-pack in either size to $1,449/£1,199 (was $1,649/£1,399). Note you can only buy a two pack in the UK. Anyhow, these prices beat the launch offer and drop the high-tech pillows to the lowest price we've seen yet.

Head into winter with full body warming (or cooling, if you're a hot sleeper). The Eight Sleep Blanket is also hydro-powered and syncs with the Eight Sleep Pod 5 Ultra mattress cover, giving you cocoon temperature control. There's $100/£100 off now dropping the price to $949/£749. Again that's the lowest price we've seen since Eight Sleep introduced this high-tech blanket in May.
