Irrespective of the size you select (it's available in both standard and king), the MSRP of a single Eight Sleep Pod Pillow Cover is currently $1,049. A double pack, meanwhile, has an MSRP of $1,649. Both the single and double packs come with one additional hub.

It's undeniable that this is a premium investment. However, considering the superior build and tech used in making the cover, the price can't be compared to that of regular cotton or the slightly pricier silk pillow cases.

However, the biggest drawback is that the Pod Pillow Cover has to be used alongside your Eight Sleep Pod mattress cover. This is a compulsory requirement to qualify to buy the product. If you do not own one already, adding a Pod mattress cover will make it a pretty expensive purchase overall.

The good news is that you can now enjoy an introductory offer when buying the Pod Pillow Cover— a discount of $100 on double pack and $50 off a single pack.

As expected of the price point, it also comes with a package of benefits including a 30-night sleep trial, 2 year limited warranty (covering material defects and workmanship) and free shipping. Eight Sleep Pod Pillow Cover: Features

The Eight Sleep Pod Pillow Cover works on the same principle as the brand's mattress cover. It features water-based cooling and heating technology delivering personalized temperature regulation all night long.

You can fully control the temperature of the cover with a customizable range between 55°F to 110°F (13°C to 43°C). The Pod Pillow Cover is also designed to adapt to your sleep stages — keeping you up to 25°F (4°C) cooler, with the help of sensors in the Pod mattress cover (not the Pod Pillow Cover) in response to the real-time biometric signals of your sleep health.

This is also why the brand says that the Pod Pillow Cover has to be used in tandem with the Pod mattress cover. However, you control the Pillow Cover temperature independently to that of the Pod mattress cover, which means you could have a cool head and neck, while your body stays toasty (or even the other way around!).

The pillow cover in itself is crafted from lightweight material, and designed to fit seamlessly under your regular case, so you won't notice any bulky tech, wires or sensors which can potentially disrupt your sleep.
