Natural latex foam is breathable, pressure-relieving, and very durable — all great qualities for a mattress. Saatva and WinkBeds are two brands that produce natural latex beds — and we'll be comparing them here in our Saatva Zenhaven vs WinkBed EcoCloud breakdown.
Saatva is known for making the best mattress of 2025, the Saatva Classic, but the Saatva Zenhaven stands out for its flippable design, offering two comfort levels in one. The WinkBed EcoCloud is built similarly to the flagship WinkBed Mattress, but with an emphasis on natural and organic materials.
Both are premium models, but the Saatva Zenhaven will set you back much more than the WinkBed EcoCloud, which is all the more reason to learn which one is a better value for your money. Fortunately, the Black Friday mattress deals are here — so now's the time to save.
Saatva Zenhaven vs WinkBed EcoCloud: Price & trial
- Both premium options but the WinkBed is the more affordable
- Saatva's best sales cut 15% off; WinkBed typically 30% off
- Saatva's extras are the industry's best but WinkBed's are good
Neither of these natural mattresses is cheap, but the WinkBeds EcoCloud is more affordable than the Saatva Zenhaven Natural Latex, especially in the larger sizes.
The Saatva Zenhaven has an MSRP of $3,499 for a queen but to be frank, you'll never have to pay that much. Look for the right Saatva mattress sales to score the best price. The 15% off sale is good while the tiered discounts (the more you spend, the more you save) come with big price drops on larger sizes.
The current Saatva Black Friday sale takes $400 off all sizes, reducing a queen to $3,099 — we have seen it cheaper but this is still a decent saving.
WinkBed used to have a perpetual $300 discount but that's recently changed. There's now 30% off but on the flip-side, the MSRPs have gone up: a queen is $1,999, reduced from $2,856 (last month it was $1,699 in the sale.) We predict this WinkBed mattress sale is here to stay and despite the rise, the WinkBed is still significantly cheaper than the Zenhaven.

Saatva offers a longer mattress trial at 365 nights, compared to the WinkBed's 120-night free trial. (Saatva has a $99 returns fee, deducted from your refund.) However, both brands offer a forever warranty.
But Saatva also offers a premium white glove delivery service for free. This involves an installation team setting up the Zenhaven in your bedroom, so that it’s ready to sleep on, and taking away your old bed (and foundation, if necessary). This saves you from having to learn how to dispose of a mattress.
The WinkBed EcoCloud ships in a box and is delivered to your doorstep via free shipping. Optional mattress setup and removal are available from $150.
Saatva Zenhaven: twin was $2,049 now $1,649 at Saatva
With $400 off all sizes, a queen Zenhaven is now $3,099 (was $3,499.) That's undoubtedly a premium price tag but don't forget: as a dual-sided mattress, you're almost getting two beds in one.
WinkBed EcoCloud: twin was $1,856 now $1,299 at WinkBeds
WinkBed has recently undergone the first major price shake-up we've seen in years and as a result a queen EcoCloud is now $1,999 (was $2,856.) That's still a competitive price for a luxury eco-mattress and despite the price increase, the EcoCloud remains a cheaper alternative to the Zenhaven.
Saatva Zenhaven vs WinkBed EcoCloud: Design and materials
- The Zenhaven is an all-latex mattress with a flippable design
- The EcoCloud is a hybrid of Talalay latex foam and recycled steel coils
- Both mattresses feature an organic cotton cover
The Saatva Zenhaven is made of natural and organic materials. Both sides of this flippable mattress consist of an organic cotton cover with specialized quilting in the middle for lumbar support. That's followed by a layer of organic New Zealand wool (mixed with rayon and polyester), which not only adds breathability and softness, but also serves as a flame retardant.
The ventilated, five-zone GOLS-certified organic latex layer determines the firmness (or softness) of that side, all while providing pressure relief and cooling. At the center are a pair of durable latex support cores for stability.
The WinkBeds EcoCloud is a hybrid mattress made from latex and coils. The cover is a blend of organic cotton and sustainable New Zealand wool. Underneath is a 4” layer of Talalay latex, followed by a bed of individually wrapped recycled steel coils, zoned for targeted support. There are also specialized edge coils to prevent sagging along the perimeter.
Both Saatva and WinkBed use organic materials that meet the rigorous requirements of mattress certifications such as GOTS, GOLS, Rainforest Alliance, and GREENGUARD.
Saatva Zenhaven vs WinkBed EcoCloud: Comfort & support
- The Zenhaven is designed to suit nearly every sleeper
- The EcoCloud comes in one (medium) firmness level
- Either option is helpful for sleepers with back pain
If you’re looking for a mattress that can suit all styles of sleepers, the Saatva Zenhaven is a great choice. The fact that this mattress is flippable means it suits all sleeping positions and most body types, from lightweight to heavier frames.
The gentle firm side is suited for stomach and back sleepers, while the soft plush side is ideal for side and combination sleepers. A member of our testing team got briefly hands-on with the gentle firm Zenhaven and "nearly fell into a deep sleep" — even in the middle of the Saatva Viewing Room.
The WinkBeds EcoCloud is rated medium for a balanced feel that should suit most back and side sleepers. (Stomach sleepers will want a firmer mattress.) The combination of latex and coils will make it easy to shift positions throughout the night, although that extra springiness could translate to less-than-ideal motion isolation.
Both beds feature zoned support, with the Zenhaven using a 5-zone natural latex layer and the EcoCloud making use of a zoned innerspring system. Either way, these ergonomic designs will be helpful for anyone dealing with back pain, as the targeted support will aid with alignment.
The best organic mattresses often have a bouncier feel due to the use of latex and we predict the same here. That might be bad news for bed sharers, as bouncy beds typically have poor motion isolation. For co-sleepers seeking a natural sleep solution with minimal disruption from movement, consider the Naturepedic Concerto Pillow Top Mattress.
Saatva Zenhaven vs WinkBed EcoCloud: Temperature control
- Both beds use a ventilated natural latex layer for cooler sleep
- They also include breathable covers with organic cotton and wool
- The EcoCloud's springs increase airflow in the mattress
As latex is naturally breathable, both the Zenhaven and EcoCloud can help hot sleepers feel more comfortable at night. Both beds include ventilated latex, organic cotton, and wool in their construction for cooler sleep. In the case of the EcoCloud, the springs add airflow.
If you're a hot sleeper looking for a cooling mattress, these two are among the best you can buy. While we've not tested either mattress ourselves, reviews for both the Zenhaven and the EcoCloud suggest that they're effective at keeping the heat away.
Saatva Zenhaven vs WinkBed EcoCloud: Which should you buy?
Buy the Saatva Zenhaven if...
✅ You want a bed that'll last (almost) a lifetime: The Zenhaven's inner layers are all natural latex, which will last a long time with proper care. (Metal springs can break down much sooner.) Saatva includes a lifetime warranty, too.
✅ You sometimes like to change the feel of your bed: With soft and firm sides, the Zenhaven can adapt to changing needs. Just beware that a queen-size mattress weighs 125lbs, so bed flipping may not be something you want to do too often.
✅ You're able (and willing) to pay for the perks: It's expensive, but your Saatva purchase also includes a one-year trial and complimentary white glove delivery with optional removal of your previous mattress. If you're after convenience, go with the Zenhaven.
Buy the WinkBed EcoCloud if...
✅ You want a great price for a latex hybrid: Organic mattresses tend to cost more than average, but the EcoCloud is among the most affordable latex hybrids you can buy right now.
✅ You sleep on your side or back: The medium feel will suit side and back sleepers most. Stomach sleepers could find it too soft to sleep on for an extended period. (Take a look at the best firm mattresses.)
✅ You want that extra bounce: Latex has a buoyant feel on its own, but add a bed of recycled steel springs and you’ll notice extra pushback. That responsiveness can be helpful if you change sleep positions often.

Jo Plumridge is an experienced mattress reviewer with several years' experience covering all things mattresses and sleep, and who tests memory foam, hybrid and organic mattresses. What Jo doesn't know about a boxed mattress isn't worth knowing, so naturally we tasked her with producing a series of features for Tom's Guide looking at all aspects of mattresses, from how to pick between latex and memory foam (it's a tricky one), to the seven mistakes people make when buying a mattress for the first time. When testing the DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid for Tom's Guide, Jo said: "I loved the back support and pressure relief it offered. Plus, it looks far more expensive than it is." When she isn’t writing about sleep, Jo also writes extensively on interior design, home products and photography.
