I'm tracking all the Nintendo Switch 2 Prime Day deals — and these are the 17 discounts I'd actually get
Switch 2 is getting some decent Prime Day discounts
The Nintendo Switch 2 turned one earlier this month, which means we're far enough away from launch to finally have great deals to talk about. Last year's Prime Day came just a bit too soon in the Switch 2's life for any truly noteworthy deals, but in 2026, there are definitely good deals available.
If you're looking to upgrade from Switch 1, the Switch 2 Choose Your Game bundle is a great way to get a console alongside one of three exclusive games. If you already have a Switch 2, there are plenty of big savings on essential software, alongside useful accessories to upgrade your console.
These are the best Switch 2 deals I've spotted this Prime Day, and be sure to check back. Amazon has made its annual sales extravaganza a multi-day event, so I'll be adding new deals as they appear.

You can save up to $30 compared to buying one of those games separately. It's my current top pick for the best Switch 2 hardware deal this Prime Day.

If you want the Switch 2 at the lowest possible price, you can get the console without any bundled games for $449. The Editor's Choice console is a fantastic hybrid machine with an already impressive library. However, I do strongly recommend the Choose Your Game Bundle linked above. After all, what good is a new console without something to play?

The latest entry in the annual NBA 2K series has entered the court, and it's once again the most polished and authentic way to play basketball from the comfort of your couch. NBA 2K26 includes the series' standard suite of online and offline modes, including MyTEAM and MyGM. The Switch 2 version isn't as graphically impressive as on other consoles, but it does offer portable play. That's a pretty big advantage.

One of 2022’s unexpected cult hits, Stray casts you as a curious cat in a world filled with humanoid robots. There’s a lot to like in this cyberpunk adventure, from its visually striking setting to its nonverbal storytelling to its dedicated “meow” button. The gameplay is simple, but some platforming and puzzle challenges should keep players engaged during Stray’s relatively short playtime.

Sonic X Shadow Generations remasters the classic game and bundles it with a new chapter where you play as beloved anti-hero Shadow. It's a fun mix of 2D and 3D Sonic, and with shorter, replayable levels, it fits perfectly on the portable Nintendo Switch 2. It's dropped to $24, its lowest price to date for the Switch 2 port. It'll hold you over until Sonic the Hedgehog 4 hits theaters in March 2027.

Star Wars Outlaws is one of the best things to come out of the galaxy far, far away in years. You play the rogue Kay Vess, looking to make a name (and find the score of a lifetime) in a world controlled by the Galactic Empire. It's an Ubisoft game, so you can expect a large open world full of distractions and side missions.

Hades 2 is the remarkable sequel to the best-selling rougelite from Supergiant Games. You play the Princess of the Underworld on a quest to defeat the Titan of Tale. Combining a rich story with dungeon-crawling action set against the compelling "just one more run" structure of a rougelite, Hades 2 will have you play for hours on end, as you inch your way towards the final boss.

Mario and friends take to the court for the latest installment in the tennis series with a Mushroom Kingdom twist. Mario Tennis Fever takes its name from the new Fever Rackets, which add a dose of mayhem to tennis rallies. Mario Kart World gets all the attention, but the true Nintendo fans know that Kirby Air Rider is actually the Switch 2 racer you need to play. This lightning-fast racing title sees Kirby and pals compete in breakneck races, with a steep learning curve for players who want to master each track. There's also a battle mode to add some variety. It's one of the Switch 2's more underrated games, and on sale for Prime Day.
