How similar is "The 'Burbs" 2026 TV show to the 1989 Tom Hanks movie "The 'Burbs"?
Both shows have same name and suburban setting (obvs) but also have scary neighbors and a spooky old house. The characters have different names but are broadly similar in personality while both aim to satirize suburban paranoia whilst trying to solve a mystery.
