Most recently, Mendilibar's side also managed to win thanks to a stoppage time winner, this one from attacker, Chiquinho, who grabbed his 2nd goal of a thrilling game which ended 3-2.

Arteta will go into this matchup without some of his top performers this Wednesday as the Arsenal manager will have to weigh up his selection. The Gunners will be without Gabriel Jesus who is suffering from a knee injury, along with Kai Havertz who has unfortunately suffered the same fate. As well as those two, Arsenal will also be without Noni Madueke due to a knee injury, a real blow as the winger has had a bright start to his Arsenal career. He will be joined on the sidelines by new signing Piero Hincape with Martin Odegaard being a doubt after only recently returning from a shoulder injury.
