Jimmy Butler and the Heat, possibly a little burned out after the Celtics pushed them to a Game 7, showed up in Denver's Ball Arena and looked like victims of the higher altitude. But unless they play tremendously better when they're back home in Miami, that excuse won't hold up.

Right now it looks like the Nuggets won game 1 on their own, as Nikola Jokic's latest triple-double didn't even feel like a necessary part of the game. The Nuggets went up early without him even shooting, thanks to the efforts of Aaron Gordon, Bruce Brown, Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray.

As for Miami? Bam Adebayo led the team in points with 26, but the rest of the team not named Jimmy Butler struggled. Max Strus (0-10) and Caleb Martin (1-7) in particular looked like they left it all in Miami.

Oh, and Martin is ruled out for Game 2, with an unnamed illness. The Heat may have the help of a returning Tyler Herro, though — which could help Jimmy Butler out a lot.

DraftKings, at the time of publication, has the Nuggets (-340) as the favorite and the Heat (+280) as the underdog. So, betting $340 on the winning Nuggets would earn you $100, and a $100 bet on the winning Heat would net you $280.

Probably. Aussies can watch the 2023 Playoff live streams on Kayo Sports, a major destination for NBA action. ESPN Australia, if you get it, is another means, but it's unclear if either will host the Heat vs Nuggets live stream.
