The Saatva Latex Pillow is rarely on sale — this is the cooling alternative I'd buy as a hot sleeper, and it's 20% off for Memorial Day
The Coop Cool+ Adjustable Pillow is designed for hot sleepers, and it's discounted for a limited time
If you're looking for a luxury cooling pillow, the Saatva Latex Pillow is an ideal option, but unless you plan to buy multiples, you can't find it on sale. If you only need a single cooling pillow to get you by this summer, I recommend the Coop Sleep Goods Cool+ Adjustable Pillow, which is down to $119 after 20% off in the Memorial Day sales.
The Coop Cool+ shares a lot of traits with the Saatva Latex Pillow, which we consider one of the best pillows you can buy. But not only does the Coop come at a lower price point, but you can also adjust the fill to get the loft right where you need it. (However, the Saatva Latex Pillow comes in a choice of two lofts.)

What makes the Coop Cool+ Adjustable Pillow worth it?
Formerly known as the EdenCool+, the Coop Cool+ is similar to the Coop Original Adjustable Pillow I tested a while back, but it has a couple of touches that make it a more versatile option for hot sleepers.
The build includes a ventilated phase change memory foam material on one side, which transfers heat away from the body while providing firmer support. The other side is where you'll mostly feel the Oomph Cool+ fill, which is a blend of microfibers and hypoallergenic plus-shaped memory foam. It's wrapped in a cool-touch cover and a heat-wicking inner liner.
In our Coop Cool+ Adjustable Cooling Pillow review, our tester remained bone dry during the two weeks she slept on this pillow during the summer. The adjustable design, along with the option to flip onto a more "supportive" side, allowed her to use it comfortably for side and back sleeping.
Her one main gripe with this pillow was the amount of fluffing it needed. The fill doesn't keep its shape after a night of use, so you'll need to be diligent about fluffing it every morning. A small price to pay for nighttime relief from the heat.
The Coop Cool+ Pillow is now 20% off for Memorial Day, which is the top discount we've seen from the brand during major sale events, so you don't have to worry about missing out on a better deal later. This drops the price of a classic queen pillow from $149 to $119.20. Enjoy Coop's industry-best benefits: 100-night sleep trial, five-year warranty, and free shipping.
Meanwhile, if you want the Saatva Latex Pillow at a discount, there's a catch...
Want a supportive, breathable pillow you don't have to re-fluff all the time? That would be the Saatva Latex Pillow.
During our review, our combination-sleeping tester (side and stomach) found it plush and comfortable, thanks to the combination of responsive latex core and cushioning microdenier fibers. In her own words, it felt like "sleeping on a cloud."
This isn't an adjustable pillow like the Coop, although it does come in a standard or high loft. Make sure you choose the right pillow loft for your sleep position; our tester tried the high-loft version, which felt a bit too elevated for back sleeping. (Choose that one if you're a side sleeper.)
Temperature regulation is Saatva Latex Pillow's forte, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The main reason is the latex core, which, combined with the moisture-wicking organic cotton cover, is a blessing for sleepers prone to night sweats.
Want a Saatva Latex Pillow on sale? Here's how you get it...
You can't save on a single pillow — you'll need to buy at least two. Considering Saatva rarely discounts anything that's not a mattress, it's a solid offer, especially if you need an extra pillow for your partner or just like to have a spare. The current bundle savings cut $40 to $60 off. A pack of two standard-size pillows will cost you $290 (was $330), while a king set is $310 (was $370). This also includes 45-day returns, a one-year limited warranty, and free shipping.
