A surprise mea culpa has served as the latest twist in a strange buildup to WrestleMania 42's main event. The World Heavyweight Championship showdown between CM Punk and Roman Reigns will bring the curtain down on wrestling's biggest weekend, but at this stage they're equally likely to come to blows as hug all the bad blood out.

Here's how to watch WrestleMania 42 live streams from anywhere with a VPN .

WrestleMania 42 live streams: TV schedule, dates

WrestleMania 42 takes place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.

CM Punk admitted to taking things too far by pledging to bury Reigns next to his late father Sika Anoaʻi, to which the Head of the Table responded by... showering his erstwhile enemy in adulation, adulation that has been returned with interest. They're being far too nice to each other, and something tells us it could all be an elaborate charade and that somebody is being lured into a false sense of security.

Speaking of which, John Cena's sudden return — albeit in a hosting capacity — has raised hopes that a more fitting farewell is in store. Having bowed out last December in low-key fashion unbecoming of an all-time WWE legend, it isn't difficult to imagine him taking revenge on Gunther. It wouldn't be the first time a WrestleMania host has got involved. Just ask "Stone Cold" Steve Austin or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

There are 13 matches on the card in total, including eight title fights, but the "so-called" lower-stakes showdowns, such as Oba Femi's seismic meeting with Brock Lesnar and Jacob Fatu's grudge match with Drew McIntyre, are every ounce as compelling.

Here's how to watch WrestleMania 2026 online and on TV — starting with free streaming options. The WrestleMania card and schedule are laid out just below.
