Unlock Hulu and Disney Plus Free for a Year With ESPN's New Streaming Service — Here's How to Get It

We all know streaming costs a pretty penny these days. If you're serious about entertainment and you want access to all the best streaming services, you'll need to stump up an awful lot of cash. Well, with the launch of the new ESPN streaming service, Disney has lightened the load just a little bit by offering up a brand new streaming deal.

Starting today (August 21), you can get ESPN Unlimited, Disney Plus and Hulu (with ads) for just $29.99 a month for 12 months — for a limited time only.

From August 21 through to Jan. 5, 2026, viewers can stream even more sports, shows, movies and more with one bundle plan.

Disney now offers a bundle combining Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited (all with ads) together on one plan — and it's currently available at a deep discount of over 39%.

At the time of writing, this bundle is available for $29.99 a month, for the first 12 months (auto-renewing at the then-current price after the period ends).

Hate ads? Try the Premium Bundle (which comes with ad-free Disney Plus and Hulu) for $38.99/month for your first 12 months, instead (this is the same level of discount compared to subscribing to each plan separately).

If you're a sports fan interested in the new ESPN streaming service, and have ever wanted to watch the latest Marvel movies or "Star Wars" shows, or you're a big fan of Hulu's drama output, this new Disney Bundle seems like a no-brainer.

Why? Well, when you consider that an ESPN Unlimited subscription on its own costs $29.99 a month, this deal effectively means you'll be getting ad-supported Hulu and Disney Plus plans for free for 12 months. If you're already subscribed to either streamer and were considering picking up ESPN Unlimited, I'd strongly suggest checking out this combo bundle instead.

Please note: After the 12-month period is up, your Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited subscription plan will auto-renew at the current rate. Currently, the combined bundle costs $35.99 a month for the ad-supported plan, or $44.99/month for the premium offering.

Not sure what the new ESPN streaming service offers? At launch, it comes with two plans: ESPN Unlimited and ESPN Select.

ESPN Select is, effectively, a rebranded ESPN Plus. For $11.99 a month, ESPN Select offers subscribers ESPN Plus-branded content, and current ESPN Plus subscribers became ESPN Select members with the launch of the new app on August 21.

ESPN Unlimited, meanwhile, is an all-encompassing ESPN streaming option that offers every ESPN linear TV network to sports fans (along with ESPN Plus content) for $29.99 a month.

Unlimited is also due to get even more valuable in 2026. Next year, ESPN will be adding WWE Premium Live Events to the platform, and NFL Network could be headed to the service, too, after ESPN agreed to acquire the NFL Network (though that latter deal still requires regulatory approval).

Don't care about anything other than sports? Keep an eye out for the ESPN Unlimited and Fox One Bundle, due to launch later this year on October 2, 2025, for $39.99 a month.
