The Southampton vs Leeds live stream will see the Saints look to get their first points of the season against a Leeds side who looked impressive in their opening match — and you can watch it from anywhere with a VPN (opens in new tab).

Southampton vs Leeds live stream date, time, channels

The Southampton vs Leeds live stream takes place today (Saturday, August 13).
Time 3 p.m. BST / 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT
• U.S. — Watch on Peacock (opens in new tab) (requires Premium sub)
• Watch anywhere — try ExpressVPN 100% risk free (opens in new tab)

Both of these sides might have expected to be among the Premier League's main relegation candidates before the season started, but on the evidence of last weekend's games, Leeds have a far better chance of staying up than the Saints do.

Obviously it would be unwise to read too much into one game, but Leeds looked really good in beating Wolves 2-1, with new signings Brendan Aaronson, Tyler Adams, Marc Roca and Rasmus Kristensen all impressing in the first match of the post-Kevin Phillips/Raphinha era. Jesse Marsch has now had a full summer to shape the team he inherited from Marcelo Bielsa, and it showed.

Southampton, in contrast, were woeful against Tottenham, going down 4-1 and probably relieved not to concede more. What's more, they finished last season in terrible form, losing nine out of their final 12 games and only finishing five points clear of relegation. James Ward-Prowse remains a class act, but elsewhere Ralph Hasenhuttl's side looked seriously short on quality. Understandably, he's made four changes for today's game.

Here's how they line up:

Southampton: Bazunu, Walker-Peters, Bednarek, Bella-Kotchap, Salisu, Djenepo, Ward-Prowse, Lavia, S Armstrong, Elyounoussi, Adams.

Leeds: Meslier, Kristensen, Koch, Llorente, Struijk, Roca, Adams, Aaronson, Rodrigo, Harrison, Bamford.
