This Lucid mattress is so cheap, I think it could be the Prime Day bed deal to beat

We've reached day two of the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale event and now is the time to buy if you want to save on better sleep. The Lucid Memory Foam Mattress is now 15% off on Amazon in a rare discount that's likely to sell fast. With a firm queen just $297.49 (was $349.99), it's ideal for back and side sleepers.
While the Lucid bed probably won't offer the long-term support of the best mattresses we've tested, this budget brand is popular with shoppers looking for a new mattress in a pinch or a reliable option for the guest room.
The Amazon Prime Day mattress sales ends today, so we don't advise waiting to shop this Lucid mattress deal, as we doubt that the popular sizes will stick around for long.
Lucid 10" Memory Foam Mattress: twin was $229.99 now $195.49 at Amazon
Lucid is a budget bed brand that offers affordable mattresses in a range of heights and feels, making them suitable for most sleep styles. In this early Prime Day deal the best offers are on the 10-inch firm Lucid, with discounts on all sizes — a queen is just $297.49, reduced from $349.99. That's a price we don't see often and based on the popularity of Lucid, we predict some of the sizes will sell out before long. The best firm mattresses tend to suit back and stomach sleepers, as the lack of sink helps keep the spine lifted to prevent back ache. Reviews also indicate this mattress has good temperature regulation. Even the best memory foam mattresses can trap heat but the Lucid seems to maintain a neutral feel. Other firmness levels are available but only a few of them are discounted — and you might struggle to find the size you want in stock.

Side sleeper? Try this mattress instead...
Zinus 12-inch Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress: twin was $215.99 now $206.17 at Amazon
The best mattresses for side sleepers tend to deliver oodles of pressure relief and that's something we expect from the Zinus, thanks to its thick cushioning at the shoulders and hips. We haven't tested this model but we did try the similar Zinus 10-inch Green Tea mattress and agreed it's one of the best mattresses in a box for side sleepers on a budget. For Prime members, a 12-inch queen is now only $249 (down from $299.99) which is the lowest price we've ever seen on this mattress. The king is also incredible value at just $279 (was $368.99) and all sizes come with a 10-year limited warranty.
