The Lucid Memory Foam Mattress is now 15% off on Amazon in a rare discount that's likely to sell fast. With a firm queen just $297.49 (was $349.99), it's ideal for back and side sleepers.

While the Lucid bed probably won't offer the long-term support of the best mattresses we've tested, this budget brand is popular with shoppers looking for a new mattress in a pinch or a reliable option for the guest room.

The Amazon Prime Day mattress sales ends today, so we don't advise waiting to shop this Lucid mattress deal, as we doubt that the popular sizes will stick around for long.

That's a price we don't see often and based on the popularity of Lucid, we predict some of the sizes will sell out before long. The best firm mattresses tend to suit back and stomach sleepers, as the lack of sink helps keep the spine lifted to prevent back ache. Reviews also indicate this mattress has good temperature regulation. Even the best memory foam mattresses can trap heat but the Lucid seems to maintain a neutral feel. Other firmness levels are available but only a few of them are discounted — and you might struggle to find the size you want in stock.
