When I first saw the Saatva Classic mattress in person, I was struck by how luxurious this premium hybrid both looked and felt. That's why I was so pleased to see the Classic, now $300 off all sizes at Saatva, back on sale.
When you click our links, you'll get our semi-exclusive discount on the Saatva Classic (voted this year's best mattress by our experienced sleep team.) This deal takes the Classic down to a starting price of $1,099 from $1,399. In comparison, the standard Saatva sale has a twin Classic for $1,190.
But the Memorial Day mattress sales are in May — is it worth waiting? We predict you'll only save $100 more, as Saatva usually rolls out a $400 discount during federal holidays. My advice? Take advantage of this $300 saving if you're eager to replace a damaged or uncomfortable bed, as this is one of the best mattress sales we've seen this April.
When you use our links to the Saatva website, expect to save $300 on all sizes of Saatva's flagship Classic mattress — a queen is now just $1,879 (was $2,179.) This marks the return of one of the best Saatva mattress sales, especially if you want to buy sizes twin through full. As always, you'll get gold-standard benefits: free white glove delivery, a 365-night sleep trial, a lifetime warranty.
Who should buy the Saatva Classic mattress right now?
Read our five-star Saatva Classic mattress review and you'll see why we're head over heels for the best luxury mattress on the market. While the reasons you should by the Classic period are obvious — luxury pressure relief, next level support — sometime it's difficult to gauge when you should shop.
As someone who tracks mattress prices for a living, I know a discount on the Classic isn't always guaranteed, which is why it's important to grab today's deal if you're desperate to upgrade your sleep set-up as soon as you can.
Maybe you're in pain on your current bed (if so, it's worth mentioning that the Classic is one of the best mattresses for back pain) or you're looking to invest in a luxury, hotel-style mattress to replace your old worn-out one.
Whatever the reason, snap up this $300 discount if you can't wait for the Memorial Day mattress sales in late May.
This $300 Saatva discount is particularly great if you want the Classic in a twin, twin XL, or full size, as the standard Saatva sale (meaning the deal you'll get when you don't click our links) will cost you up to $91 more in those sizes.
However, the same non-exclusive deal will save you $26 more on a queen, so head direct to Saatva if you're after a bigger size.
But if you're in no hurry, you could wait until the Saatva Memorial Day sales to see if the $400 saving returns. That bigger saving is still a few weeks away though, which is a long time to go on a bad bed.
3 alternative hotel-luxury mattress deals...
While we rate the Classic as the best hybrid mattress out there, we should point out that there are great luxe alternatives.
Whether you need a a more affordable deal or advanced cooling for excruciating night sweats, here are the top three hybrid deals to consider this month...
Our Bear Elite Hybrid Mattress review proved with both objective and subjective tests that the Bear Elite is an ultra-cooling, heat-dissipating bed — the best cooling mattress for anyone who's kept awake by night sweats. While the MSRP for a queen is $2,284, the current 35% discount takes it to $1,485. Adding a celliant-infused cover (which we recommend for very hot sleepers) takes it to $1,578. Extras include a 120-night sleep trial, limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping and returns.
The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid Mattress has been a worthy rival to the Classic for a long time, offering luxury and support (but lacking the Classic's firmness options and targeted back support.) The best mattress in a box we've tested, a queen (priced at $649) is always under $1,000 and all sizes come with industry-leading benefits: free shipping and returns (Saatva charges a returns fee), a lifetime warranty, and a one-year sleep trial.
One drawback of the Saatva Classic is that the maximum weight capacity of 600lbs is on the lower side. The WinkBed Plus, however, is designed to support individuals who weigh over 250lbs, making it one of the best mattresses for heavy people. And with Luxury Firm, Softer, and Firmer models as well, there's an option for all bodies and sleep styles. In our WinkBed mattress review, testers loved the sturdy, zoned support for the spine and great pressure relief. A regular 30% off sale means you can get a queen for $1,999 (was $2,856), plus a 120-night sleep trial, free shipping and returns, and a lifetime warranty.
