One week ago, Collin Morikawa secured a birdie at the last to claim victory at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, his first PGA Tour win in more than two years. Now the American will be seeking to continue his hot streak and make it back-to-back triumphs as he tees it up alongside the world’s best at the Genesis Invitational.
It certainly won’t be easy for the 29-year-old, with a host big names competing in Pacific Palisades. World No. 1 Scheffler fired a nine-under in his find round at Pebble Beach to extend his streak of top-10 PGA Tour finishes to 18, while Min Woo-Lee, Tommy Fleetwood and Sepp Straka were all in superb form in California.
McIlroy will also be eying a first victory of the year and will look to build on his final round of 64 at Pebble Beach. Then there’s the reigning champion Aberg who will be looking to kickstart his 2026 after a disappointing start to the year.
With the highly-ranked Justin Rose, Chris Gotterup, Russell Henley and Robert MacIntyre also in action, it should be another fascinating tournament that you won’t want to miss.
