He’ll face competition from a strong Australian squad, while England’s Adam Ramsay-Peaty will be chasing gold in the 50m and 100m breaststroke events,
Elsewhere, all eyes will be on the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome to see how Matthew Richardson goes in the sprint and team sprint after switching allegiances from Australia to England. Welsh legend Emma Finucane is another to watch as she bids to complete the set by adding Commonwealth glory to her Olympic, European and world titles.
