=======================

There was a time when Black Friday was just that -- a Friday -- but Amazon seems set on turning the whole month of November into a massive savings-fest. The mega-retailer has launched a Black Friday Deals Store that features a rotating stable of sales, with Prime members getting first dibs on select specials.

As with previous years, Amazon's Black Friday store features both daily and lightning deals in categories ranging from home goods to high-end gadgets. But this year's holiday offerings are also a make-good for this summer's Prime Day sales event, which many customers considered a failure due to its limited quantities and lack of exciting items. According to CNBC, Amazon paid close attention to customers' wish lists this time around in order to give people more of what they want.

Here are some standout deals so far -- we'll be keeping this page updated with the best ones. Keep in mind that some of Amazon's Black Fridays will last most of the season, while others will be gone in minutes.

According to Amazon, Prime Members will get access to over 30,000 lighting deals 30 minutes early, giving obsessive online shoppers yet another reason to subscribe to the company's $99-per-year premium service.

While some may shun the idea of a month-long Black Friday, Amazon's approach to holiday savings seems capable of providing more consistent deals and less shopping stress. We'll be bringing you every major retailer's top deals as the month progresses, so stay tuned.

    I don't understand. It says Amazon has a deal for the Seiki 50-inch 1080p LED HDTV for $229, but I can't find it for that price anywhere on their site. I have looked through all of their deals and I have specifically searched the site for that TV. When it comes up it is $600. Can someone tell me what I am missing here?

    You need to keep in mind that those prices are just for a limited time, for example, they release the offer and that offer ends until lats unit is sold or for example until 2 hours after start the offer. I suggest you contact Amazon over chat, they can give you the exact hour for that offer.
