They're very light and comfortable, sound good, and offer excellent noise canceling. 20 hours of battery will get you through the day, and the protective case will make sure they stay in one piece when you throw them in your bag.

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are the step above the standard QuietComfort headphones, with improved sound, fit and ANC. This $100 saving makes them a great deal — they might not be quite as new as the later gen 2, but they're still a great pair of headphones. More than 24 hours of battery would be nice, though.
