Such huge numbers – and an almost cult fan base for Cillian Murphy's portrayal of troubled but fearless Birmingham gangster Thomas Shelby – meant fans could never get enough. Four years later, a full-blown Peaky Blinders movie, "The Immortal Man," is all set to hit theatres in the U.S. and UK on March 6 and will stream worldwide on Netflix on March 20, 2026.
Without going much into spoilers, "The Immortal Man" will pick up six years after the events of the sixth season. According to the show's and movie’s writer, Steven Knight, The Immortal Man will be “explosive.” “The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders,” he said.
Although Knight and director Tom Harper have both said they’ve structured "The Immortal Man" in such a way that even newcomers can enjoy it, there’s no doubt long-time viewers of the show will be eager to watch Cillian Murphy in action again, breathe in that familiar smoky Birmingham air, and get the full picture of Tommy’s post-retirement story.
So if you want the full experience – or if you’ve watched the show and want a quick refresh before watching "The Immortal Man" – BBC iPlayer is streaming all six "Peaky Blinders" seasons completely free in the UK.

'Peaky Blinders' FAQs
Peaky Blinders 'The Immortal Man' preview
As has been the setup with every “Peaky Blinders” series, the Shelbys are thrown into some epic historical era. This time, it’s the Second World War. Tommy, however, is not his usual self, as those familiar with the show will know how his arc ended in the 2022 season finale.
In “The Immortal Man,” Tommy is forced to return to Birmingham in order to rein in his illegitimate son Duke, who appeared in season 6 but will be played by Barry Keoghan in the movie.
Duke has gone off the rails and started engaging in activities that go against the Shelby family's bottom line. And if Thomas plans to handle him the way he did his younger cousin Michael, “The Immortal Man” could be an exciting watch.
