If you are a hot sleeper, then a cooling mattress may just be the answer to your problems. Luckily, Casper is cutting 25% off its Casper Snow Hybrid Cooling Mattress this weekend for a total savings of up to $1,000. Bring home a queen-size Casper Snow for $1,945 (was $2,595).

The best mattresses all have an element of temperature regulation to facilitate a comfortable sleep climate, but the Casper Snow adds advanced materials that draw heat and moisture away from the surface — a boon for sleepers who otherwise wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night.

This is one of the strongest deals we've seen for Casper's specialist cooling mattress all year. If you're ready to put hot flashes to bed for good, you'll want to take advantage of this mattress sale before it's over.

A top layer of Soothe Memory Foam gives this cooling mattress a soft, gooey surface, but it's counterbalanced by a zoned layer of transition foam and pocket coils for sufficient support. Those characteristics make it a good mattress for side sleepers. Add a series of HeatDelete Bands, a PCM-infused memory foam layer, and a soothing cooling cover, and you won't have to worry about breaking a sweat, either. A 25% discount cuts a queen-size Casper Snow to $1,945 (was $2,595). That's among the better Casper mattress sales this year, and it's the lowest price we've seen for this cooling mattress since a 30% discount in late June — a discount that (maybe) we'll see again closer to Black Friday. Casper adds a 10-year warranty and a 100-night trial with purchase.

Do you need a cooling mattress?

If you spend your nights sweating profusely, a cooling mattress can make a huge difference. Given it's a specialist mattress type, you'll usually pay more than average, but the investment can be worth it for sounder, drier sleep.

The Casper Snow Hybrid Mattress is topped with a CoolTouch Cover made out of a special cooling yarn. That's followed by a layer of memory foam coated with Phase Change Material (PCM) to absorb and release heat.

On top of the zoned foam transition layer is a series of graphite HeatDelete bands to keep heat moving away from the body. The coils also help with cooling as they aid in airflow.

In our Casper One Memory Foam Mattress review, our team found it most comfortable for back sleeping. While this mattress doesn't give that 'sink' feeling that the best memory foam mattresses are known for, it does offer gentle contouring and pressure relief, though it still may be too firm for side sleepers. Temperature regulation is average, which shouldn't bother sleepers who aren't prone to overheating. This is a mid-range mattress offering good value for money. Right now, a queen is just $799 after 20% off (was $999).
