Tempur-Pedic is having a secret sale and you can save up to $3,500 on a luxury cooling mattress
The Tempur-Contour Luxe Breeze combines Tempur-Pedic's signature pressure relief with a cooler feel — but sizes are selling fast
Tempur-Pedic mattresses are known for their luxurious, body-hugging feel that can alleviate strain from even the most overworked shoulders and knees. The Tempur-Pedic Contour Luxe Breeze, now up to $3,500 off at Tempur-Pedic Outlet, promises all that pressure relief alongside the soothing feel of a cool-to-the-touch mattress.
While we haven't tested this model, other Tempur-Pedic beds we've reviewed have impressed with their full-body pressure relief. However, a tendency to sleep warm has kept them from cracking our guide to the best mattresses we've tested — but that's a problem the Contour Luxe Breeze claims to fix with its layer of cooling foam and breathable cover.
The Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Contour Luxe Breeze 1.0 is a soft, luxury mattress, with a cooling full-body hug. In the closeout sale you can enjoy 40% off, reducing a queen to $2,999.40 (was $4,999) and a split king to just $5,278.80 from $8,798 — that's a massive $3,520 off. There's no sleep trial but a 10-year warranty and free white glove delivery are included. Tempur-Pedic mattress sales are usually on the small side, so this is a rare chance for a mega discount.

This is a closeout sale, so there's a few important things to know. First, sizes are super limited, with just a queen and a split king available. If you want a smaller size, you'll need to shop direct from Tempur-Pedic.
Also, as a closeout sale there's no sleep trial. That means once you've bought it, it's yours (unless there's a fault, in which case it's covered by a 10-year mattress warranty.) So before you buy, double-check it's the mattress you want.
Cooler comfort to alleviate aches and pains
Tempur-Pedic mattresses are best known for their deep, squishy cushioning that contours to your body to relieve pressure at the joints. Think of it like a big hug in a bed and it’s courtesy of Tempur Material foam.
This hug has plenty of benefits, from the aforementioned pressure relief to exceptional motion isolation. However, from our experience testing Tempur-Pedic mattresses, it comes with one major drawback: heat retention.
I use a Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud pillow and I love how it cradles my neck but on nights with even a hint of warmth, I wake up sweating. But with the Tempur-Contour Luxe Breeze, you should get the best of both worlds, thanks to the cool touch cover and the PureCool infused foams.
That means a bear hug of a mattress without the night sweats and the sleep disruption. As a softer foam bed I’m not sure it will have quite the cooling power of a breathable hybrid like the Bear Elite, the best cooling mattress we’ve tested, but it should be a good middle ground for sleepers who like to sink into their mattress but want to avoid overheating.
On a smaller budget? Try this...
GhostBed claims the Luxe Foam is the 'Coolest Bed in the World' — we didn't go quite that far in our GhostBed Luxe Foam mattress review, but we did agree it was highly breathable with a hug feel that puts it among the best mattresses for side sleepers. A queen is $1,799 which might still be a premium bed but is over $1,000 cheaper than the Tempur-Pedic. You also get a 25-year warranty and 101-night trial, but no white glove delivery.
