Prime Day slashes the price of Simba's coolest mattress topper — but it's selling out fast this summer
Add cooling comfort to stuffy foam beds for less with the Simba Hybrid Mattress Topper, now 15% off
Hybrid mattresses are famed for their airflow-boosting support, but you can get the same cooling comfort for less with a hybrid mattress topper — and one of the most popular hybrid toppers has now had a massive price drop at Amazon. The Simba Hybrid Mattress Topper, now down from £296.65 from £349 in a double at Amazon, is one of our favorite Prime Day sleep deals.
Most mattresses in our best mattress guide are hybrids, and the multi-layered Simba Hybrid Mattress Topper is designed to deliver a similar build. It currently has a 4.2 star score from over 200 customer ratings — 63% of those customers awarded the bed topper five stars.
While Amazon has discounted a lot of mattresses and toppers this year, we haven't seen many from well-known brands. However, this Simba deal proves that Prime Day does deliver on big-name price drops. Right now, you can save 15% on all sizes of this hybrid topper, while Simba's website only takes 10% off (that said, buying from Simba does guarantee a 200-night sleep trial).
User score: ★★★★ (200+ reviews)
Amazon is offering a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime this week. As soon as you sign up, you'll get access to this year's Prime Day discounts on thousands of items, from mattresses to air fryers. Prime memberships (from £8.99 a month / £95 a year) also include access to Prime Video, Prime Reading, Prime Music, Amazon photo storage, plus free shipping.
We haven't seen many discounts on big-name brands while tracking the Amazon UK Prime Day mattress deals, so this discount from the ultra-popular Simba brand is one to snap up soon (a single is almost sold out.)
What customers are saying about the Simba Hybrid Topper...
While some user reviews do criticise the price tag and off-gassing, costumers on the whole praise this mattress topper.
Most Amazon customers love this hybrid mattress topper's ability to add cooling comfort to stuffy memory foam beds, with one reviewer noting that it's "noticeably cooler than any other mattress toppers" and another saying that it adds a "cool and firm layer".
Other customers also praise the pressure relief it adds to the bed, helping with aches and pains. "It's got a nice thickness, weighs a bit but is manageable, helps with controlling temperature and helps with pain relief in my hip," one customer writes.

We tested a twin-size on an old innerspring bed for a month in our Panda Bamboo Memory Foam Mattress Topper review, and we loved how it added it added a body-cradling layer. It doesn't have the Simba's spring layer for airflow-boosting coolness and extra support, but it's cover is made from breathable bamboo-viscose for a refreshing, non-toxic sleep. Now £118.95 (was £139.95) for a double, it provides luxurious, natural comfort.
