As a home baker, I can't begin to describe the love I have for my humble KitchenAid stand mixer. Generously gifted as a wedding present, it's been a staple on my countertop ever since, fuelling my ambition to try new and challenging recipes.
That said, I understand the true investment that goes into purchasing a KitchenAid mixer — this coveted kitchen appliance typically costs AU$899 or more, depending on the model you opt for. Factor in the price of additional attachments, like a vegetable slicer or meat grinder, to make it more versatile, and you’re looking at well over a grand gone.
Thankfully, Amazon has swooped in with a new low price for the KSM150 Artisan tilt-head mixer, now just AU$549. Sure, it's not the lowest price of AU$499 from November last year, but it's still an impressive AU$350 off the RRP.
Even more impressive is that the brand has discounted a selection of attachments are now discounted, with up to 39% off across KitchenAid's Amazon storefront. This includes some of my most-used and most-loved attachments that I highly recommend you get if you want to make the most out of your new stand mixer.
If the stand mixer, or its attachments, aren’t on your shopping list right now, there are savings on other kitchen appliances too, including food choppers and coffee machines. You'll need to act fast to secure these KitchenAid bargains, as these prices are too tempting to last long.

Now at a new low price on Amazon, this versatile kitchen appliance is within reach of more budget-minded shoppers. The KitchenAid KSM150 stand mixer is more than just a whipping and mixing machine. When paired with additional attachments, you can slice veggies, grind meat or even make pasta — the options are endless. In the box with this mixer is the whisk, dough hook and flat beater to get you started. Also available in Almond Cream for AU$569 under the same listing.
If you don’t need a stand mixer, or it might take up too much space, you could consider a speedy hand mixer instead. Surely nine speeds should do just the trick, without needing much baker's elbow to get it going. Now discounted to just AU$168 in the Almond Cream colourway, the mixer also comes with five different attachments, including a dough hook and a whisk.
I've owned this little food chopper for almost a year, and it has truly transformed my kitchen setup. It can pulse, blend and chop up to 3.5 cups of food at the same time, and it's very cute to look at. That said, it may not suit larger recipes or meal prepping, as you may need to process more batches, and yet it still saves time compared to manually chopping your produce.
This is, hands down, my favourite KitchenAid attachment. The Slicer and Shredder set comes with three interchangeable blades for different cuts, with the medium shredder being my most-used blade — perfect for cheeses, cauliflower or softer vegetables. I should point out that if your cheese or vegetables are too soft, they’ll get stuck between the blade and the outer body. To fix this, you'll need to remove the blade and empty any stuck food before continuing.
Churn your own ice-cream creations with this attachment for the KitchenAid stand mixer. All you need to do is attach the bowl once it’s out of the freezer, pop on the dasher attachment, add in your preferred ice-cream mix and churn until frozen (and delicious!). This attachment will get plenty of use in the warmer months, so it's worth snapping up at this discounted rate.
If ice cream isn't your favourite frozen treat, consider the Ice Shaver Attachment, now discounted to AU$122 from AU$179. It shaves ice to the fluffiest texture, perfect for snow cones or frozen cocktails.
On the off chance that you're more interested in baking bread than making ice cream, this KitchenAid Bread Bowl could be a better match. Complete with a lid, you can knead your dough using the KSM150's dough hook, let it proof in the bowl and then pop the entire bowl in the oven. It has a 4.7L capacity for larger loaves and is made out of durable ceramic to withstand temperatures of up to 260℃.
