There's still no trailer at the time of writing, but "South Park" season 27 episode 5 finally has a title ahead of its belated premiere this Wednesday, September 24: "Conflict of Interest". It follows on from "Wok is Dead", which concluded with the bombshell revelation that Satan is carrying Donald Trump's lovechild.

With the new season on course to break viewership records, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have earned the license to take as much time as they need to transform current affairs into these masterpieces, so Paramount has confirmed that the fallow weeks will be standard.
Parker and Stone, however, missed their episode 5 deadline, which has had a knock-on effect on the rest of season 27. "Apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don’t get it done,” they said in a last-minute statement. “This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time.”
While their takedowns of the president have dominated the headlines, "South Park" has also taken a stand against AI and Trump's primary enablers — the billionaire class that counts Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook as some of its members. It saw Randy Marsh turn to the now-ubiquitous ChatGPT for (terrible) advice, and consequently lose everything.
The previous two episodes caused uproar in political circles. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has branded Parker and Stone as "lazy", while White House Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers has said the show "hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread".
Rogers has also claimed that the show's "popularity continues to hit record lows." The season premiere, "Sermon on the 'Mount", reached 5.9 million viewers in its first three days across platforms, and "Got a Nut" is believed to have attracted 6.2 million viewers in the same timeframe. As such, the Department of Homeland Security has attempted to hijack the show's massive reach to recruit Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.
