Amanda is back to complicate life in SoHa in 'Amandaland' season 2
One of the BBC's sharpest recent comedies is back, and "Amandaland" season 2 looks set to push Amanda further into the kind of social chaos she usually creates for herself.
You can watch "Amandaland" online from anywhere with a VPN (try risk-free) – and potentially for free.
All six episodes of "Amandaland" season 2 will be available as a box set on BBC iPlayer from the morning of Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

The “Motherland” spin-off returns with Lucy Punch’s status-obsessed heroine still living in SoHa, still trying to turn her ‘Sensuous’ lifestyle brand into something meaningful, and still navigating motherhood on her own terms.
This time, Amanda is dealing with teenage exams and the school prom while also fixating on a ‘Big House’ in the area, which tells you almost everything you need to know about her priorities. Her relationship with neighbour Mal also becomes more complicated with the arrival of his no-nonsense ex-wife, Abs, while Pam Ferris joins the cast as Elspeth, a frail neighbour with a very desirable home.
Joanna Lumley and Philippa Dunne are both back, and the BBC is dropping the whole season as a box set on launch day, so you won’t need to pace yourself unless you want to.
Expectations are fairly high, too, with season 1 proving a hit and the 2025 Christmas special reportedly becoming the UK’s most-watched comedy episode of the year.
