How to watch Valencia Marathon 2025: FREE live streams, schedule, preview
A brilliant rivalry has developed between Amane Beriso and Peres Jepchirchir
Three years ago, Amane Beriso smashed the Valencia Marathon record set by Peres Jepchirchir in 2020. Beriso's time still stands, but in September Jepchirchir responded by taking Beriso's world title. It's a healthy rivalry, and one that serves as the headline act of the season-ending 2025 Valencia Marathon, one of the fastest races on the calendar.
You can watch Valencia Marathon 2025 from anywhere with a VPN and potentially for FREE.
The 2025 Valencia Marathon takes place on Sunday, December 7. Full schedule below.

Beriso's 2:14:58 mark ranks at fifth-fastest marathon of all time, but if Jepchirchir brings her World Athletics Championships form to the Spanish coast, the Ethiopian may have no choice but to embrace a high-risk gameplan this weekend. Joyciline Jepkosgei, a former winner in both London and New York, will likely be in the mix at the front too.
We're also hoping to see Sisay Lemma, the men's course-record holder, fight it out with John Korir, the reigning Boston Marathon champion. Since posting the fourth-fastest marathon of all time in Valencia two years ago, however, Lemma has had a quiet time of things. He came 10th at last year's event, and hasn't raced since.
Sub-2:05 athletes Tesfaye Deriba, Hillary Kipkoech and Stephen Kissa will be worth keeping an eye on, as is Olympic triathlon champion Alex Yee. He came 14th on his marathon debut in London in April after minimal preparation, and is set to switch his focus back to triathlon training after Sunday.
