AFL 2026 live streams: TV schedule, dates

The Brisbane Lions, who captured back-to-back flags, are now the hunted. As rare as premiership hat-tricks are – Hawthorn became only the sixth team to pull off the feat from 2013 to 2015 – we can't see anyone stopping Chris Fagan's men.

Hot on their heels, the Geelong Cats boast a stacked squad this season, while the Sydney Swans are tipped to surge. Dean Cox's men ended the last campaign strongly, but it was too little too late to undo the damage of their disastrous start.

Down the ladder? The West Coast Eagles face a long winter, but keep an eye on wildcard teams like St Kilda and Adelaide Crows.

The top 10 in the standings will get a shot at the flag this season, with 7th set to host 10th and 8th set to entertain 9th in the new wildcard finals, as the top six take a bye.

In Australia, multiple AFL games are shown on free-to-air Channel 7 and 7Mate each week, with live streaming available via 7Plus.

The only catch is that different games are shown in different regions.

However, by letting you connect to servers in different parts of the country, a good VPN will give you access to all of 7Plus' free coverage. We recommend NordVPN.

Comprehensive AFL coverage, meanwhile, is available on Fox Sports via Foxtel.

Don't have Foxtel and don't want to subscribe? Every game is also being shown on Kayo Sports, with its affordable, commitment-free plans starting from just AU$30/month, and hosting plenty of NBA, NHL, NFL, cricket, NHL, rugby, F1 and more.

Anybody who hasn't used the service before can choose between a 7-day FREE trial and 1 month for AU$1.
