The good news – if you live in the U.S. – is that you can watch Formula 1 on Apple TV with a FREE 7-day trial.
Read on to learn how to stream Formula 1 on Apple TV in the U.S. If you're a new subscriber, how to potentially watch the Australian Grand Prix opening weekend for free right now.
How to watch Formula 1 on Apple TV
▶︎ Every Formula 1 Grand Prix, including all practice and qualifying sessions, will stream on Apple TV in the U.S.
This means that ESPN, which previously broadcast F1 coverage in the U.S., will no longer show the races. However, fans can still use the F1 TV platform, as it is now bundled with an Apple TV subscription at no additional cost. Subscriptions start at $12.99 per month or $99 per year, and new users get access to a 7-day FREE trial.
Apple TV will feature a dedicated F1 section that will house all live streams, including practice sessions, qualifying, sprint races, and Sunday’s main race, along with driver onboard cameras and other special features. To encourage new viewers, Apple TV will stream all practice sessions from every Grand Prix for free.
For existing F1 TV subscribers, this shift is good news, as it offers significant savings. F1 TV was previously priced at $129 per year, while Apple TV costs $99 annually – and also gives access to its wide library of TV shows, movies, and live sports.
What else can you watch on Apple TV? Plenty, including feel-good series like "Ted Lasso", thrilling sci-fi like "Severance" and "Silo", as well as live sports.
